Albertsons

Stopped by on our way from Vegas to California. Excellent selection of produce, bakery and beer. Sale prices were good. Employees were helpful. My only complaint was the deli — didn’t seem to have a whole lot of selection — at least compared to what I’m used to on the East Coast.

This store is around the corner from my residence. Every day Albertsons allows customers to stroll off their property with Albertsons shopping carts. Most are abandoned on Camero Ave;,
two blocks north of the store. The carts are an eyesore to our neighborhood and detrimental
to home values also. Do prospective buyers want to see a bunch of carts on the streets? No!
I spoke with an assistant manager at the store about this problem. She acknowledged that many expensive shopping carts had disappeared over the many months this store has been in
business. Her solution (and Albertsons) is to have a guy in a pick up truck round them up
once a week and return them to the store. That’s not good enough in my mind;
Their is a shopping cart law which states it is against the law to remove carts from the
premises. It’s stealing, plain and simple. Albertsons should:
1. hire a security guard to watch over the carts as customers exit the store.
2. prosecute those individuals who violate the shopping cart law;
Suppose a person shop lifts some groceries inside their store. I believe the police would be called and the suspect arrested. So why is Albertsons not doing the same regarding their shopping carts? Are they trying to promote good will by looking the other way when a cart theft occurs? Are they afraid to lose business? In so doing, Albertsons is really doing a DISSERVICE to the community. C’mon Albertsons, get your act together and prevent the
theft of carts from the source: your own parking lot!

This Albertsons is gorgeous and so big! The bakery is phenomenal and the selection of all groceries is amazing!

This was five stars last month but it appears they have started using the dreaded «air freshener» and I smell like a casino when I walk out of there. I don’t know why stores use these products since they’re driving out customers. I’d much rather smell coffee, onions, and normal grocery store smells. Positive aspects include excellent selection of products, great specials, and friendly staff. I wish I could shop there but I’m forced to hunt for another store now.

I love shopping at this Albertsons. MARLON is the best cake maker and Jocelyn and Mary Ann are so nice at Deli. Chucky in Produce too all hard workers. Cashiers are nice too! Clean store lots of Organic and Gluten free products

This Albertsons location is on the north side of Blue Diamond Road near Decatur Blvd. Whenever I do hit up an Albertsons, I typically go to the one on Rainbow, since it feels a bit closer to where I live. I usually only end up here if I end up going to another business in the area. Which is a shame, because this is a really solid location!
The store its self is well stocked and pretty clean every time i come here. The only employees I can recall dealing with have been the cashiers, but they have always been friendly to me.
— They sell carnations here for the parents little praying rituals (Don’t ask me why it HAS to be carnations, but apparently it just does.)
— They have a pretty good liquor selection, for a grocery store. Plenty of IPA’s and other non-​common brands you won’t see everywhere.
— They have a DMV kiosk which is ridiculously convenient for registration renewals and whatnot.(.and, yes, I have used it here for exactly that purpose.)
— They have a US Bank on site.
— They also have a Sav-​On Pharmacy on site as well.
— They even have their obligatory slots/​video poker area up in the front of the store.
Every time I come here I always wonder why I don’t take the extra time to come here because it really is a good spot.
Yay! I’m a fan.

Good layout. Fresh produce. Well lit and well stocked store. Fast lines– they even have a sign that says if more than 3 people they will open up a new lane. Which I’ve seen them do. Three is definitely a crowd. This store goes above and beyond for customer service. Worth the extra drive for me as the smiths by my house has a rat problem. Albertsons all the way!

I’m writing my review and giving one stars not because of the quality of the food but because for some reason you just cannot pay there anymore with Apple Pay. I’m going to review every Albertson’s across the nation if I can give them the same zero star review I don’t understand how company this large cannot seem to get it together.

Came here for the DMV kiosk. The woman working customer service walked me through the process with a cheerful attitude and I was in and out with tabs in hand within five minutes. Compare that to four hour wait at the DMV.

We came here for a few items on our recent Vegas stay. This is a nice store with friendly staff. The prices were good and the store was easy to navigate. We were staying in a hotel, so we didn’t need much. But it was nice to stock up on things without paying the inflated prices for items on the strip.
We’ll certainly come back next time we’re in town.

Well where do I start? It’s ultimately the best market! It’s 5 mins from my house, the staff knows who I am and that’s refreshing. They always ask if I need help with looking for items or to my car. The prices are about the same as Smith’s market and some of the other markets I’ve been to so it’s way more convenient in every aspect for me to go to Albertson’s. Produce is always fresh and same goes for the meat, dairy and bakery! I love the deli and the staff always recommend certain brands of deli meat and cheeses. Even there pharmacy is great! Christina and Larry are awesome! Thanks Albertson’s and Savon’s for the best customer service above any other market! Well at least in my book they are!..:)

I will always give this store 5 stars !!! I love it here everyone is friendly! Staff always asking if i need help if i look lost:) I will say that the kid named Tommy in the meat department is the BEST. I go in early in the moring for my meats. He stops what he is doing and always attends to me. He is the best in that department!
Another department i would like to recognize is the Deli. ALWAYS beautiful and everything is always fresh. You got strong ladies back there!!! & they are always funny. Love their service.
In the check stands i would like to recognize lashante! She is the BEST. I go through her line only when she is present. She is a great person and super friendly! Nothing beats a friendly awesome cashier:)))))

I feel like I am cheating on Smith’s when I shop at Albertsons. But sometimes the grass is greener on the other side of Blue Diamond.
This store seems gigantic to me. I like how the isles are divided up into shorter isles. Sometimes I feel like a mouse in a maze in those never-​ending isles– like there is no escape.
The produce section is spread out. It doesn’t feel crowded. Although the lighting in that section is VERY bright.
Prices seem to be a bit more than the competitors and there are no rewards system.
I rarely see staff except at checkout so not sure how helpful or friendly they are.
The store is clean, well organized, and stocked with seasonal items.

This is the worst supermarket I have ever been too. I am a long time Albertsons customer but this particular store sucks. Every time I go they don’t have half of what I want. Just today they had no snow peas, no peeled garlic, and no Mini peppers. They actually have not had mini peppers in amist two months. I have to go to the Albertsons that’s 5 miles away to get what I want. If I were a district manager the store manager would be unemployed because I would fire him today. Also if you’re going to have three doors then put baskets Next to the middle door because there’s no point in having a middle door if after I go in I have to walk to the other side of the store to get a basket.

I come here for their convenient location mainly.
When there’s a good sale the prices here are great. When there isn’t a good sale it could be pretty costly.
If your looking for a place to coupon don’t go to Albertson’s. Of course following all the coupon policies and not trying to get anyone in trouble for the misuse of coupons regardless they are coupon nazis here and it’ll be frowned upon.
Organic selection here is ok. I’ve seen other stores with more organic produce and foods to offer.

I am fairly new to this side of town, but since I have been coming to this Albertsons I’ve have nothing but great experiences. First off, the staff is always great, no matter who you ask… Deli, floral, produce, they are all helpful and can help you out quick.
The main reason for the review is for the BEER selection, it’s great. If you are a beer drinker and say to yourself «I need to go to total wine, or lees discount for my beer selection,» you no longer need to think that way because of this store. Great seasonal selection… Including Dogfish pumpkin ale, Brooklyn ale and other selections you would not think you could find at a local grocer. I have lived in the NW side of town for the last 7 years and have never been able to run to an Albertsons for a top selection of beer. Good job to whoever runs the beer, wine and spirits selection.

I feel like this Albertsons location is smaller than the one on Rainbow and Warm Springs, sometimes they have less stock of something.
The staff is always friendly.
Convenient to stop in after shopping on Blue Diamond.

This Albertsons is amazing. Checkers and staff are always friendly and courtious. Store is always clean. Drive thru SavOn Pharmacy is a bonus. I love this store so much that I even had my wedding flowers and cake done here.
Floral — Meredith ROCKS! She did exactly what I wanted. They dont have a book to choose things from. Just take in a picture and she will duplicate it. Great pricing too. She did my bridal bouquet, 2 matching boutineers and roses to match the cake. Flower shop quality at a lesser price.
Bakery — These chicks are amazing! My cake cake out super moist, great fudge filling, yummy whipped cream frosting, and gorgeous decoration. It was exactly what I wanted. Like the floral dept, grocery store price, trendy expensive bakery quality. I got a ton of compliments on how pretty it was and the taste, with some shocked expressions when I said it was from Albertsons. I’d suggest any bride to check out Albertsons for floral and bakery!
