Ageless Karate

I highly recommend joining Ageless Karate. Myself and my two daughters (age 8 and 5) have signed up and have been attending classes several times a week now for the past 4 months and we couldn’t be happier.
Sensei Joe is an amazing teacher and a great motivator. What really sealed the deal for me was how well he connects with his students of all ages. All in all you can tell he genuinely cares for the well being of his students.
The cost is reasonable and it’s even better for family’s. How the school handles belt testing is superior to most karate schools as well.

This is such an awesome place for anyone wanting to learn karate and integrating the right values. They take great care and give so much dedication to the students.

I was hesitant in writing a negative review, because Joe seemed to be a real nice guy. Unfortunately he is a better teacher than businessman. In Jan we (family of 6) verbally agreed to join his class. He was offering a 2 for 1 special for 1 yr and we would get a free warm up out fit. But he said anything after the 4 person is free, mind you none of this is written we were not give a contract everything was still up in the air. We rush and gave him $ 200 and then tells us that he would need our account number so that he can take payment every 1^st of the month ($ 300)and then another $ 499 for gear in 3 months. we said we would be back to discuss who would be signing up.
Things didn’t add up.
1– there is no morning classes (which is the only reason why I wanted to sign up and he knew that)
2– classes are not unlimited
3– never got outfits
4-​sign in tags never worked
He seem to preoccupied to chat at the first practice so I let it go and tried to call him before the next practice seemed his phone was disconnected.
My kids (i have 4) only went to one practice and 2 wanted out, by the next practice another and the next practice I finally asked him if I could pay him cash that I was not gonna give him my account information. After about 5 mins he told me that for one kid it would go up to $ 169. If I remember correctly. Remember nothing is written down. Its my fault for giving this dishonest man money thinking he really cared about our family. I didn’t mean to ramble I guess what I’m trying to say make sure you get a contract!!! And do your research.

Our son is 4 years old and been taking karate at the rec. center for 6 mon. Since switching him to Ageless Karate his confidence level and physicality have improved immensely compared to the rec center. Sensi Joe is strict but nurturing. We have learned a lot also. Thanks Ageless karate.

Sensei Joe is a Karate-​Geek, and I mean that in a very good way! He is passionate about karate and the constant improvement of his students. Our sons were practicing karate for a couple of years before joining his dojo, and their kumite skills improved by leaps and bounds within just a few months. They learned more than they ever did in the previous years. Under all the discipline, he also wants the kids to have fun. So, he has fun functions for the kids, such as Halloween and Christmas parties. They even host karate birthday parties. To describe this dojo in one term… fun discipline.

Very professional please for kids .A lots of fun during holidays .Always good time for the students during the classes even they are hard and full with new steps to learn.

Awful place. The female help instructor there is rude. The owner guy is greedy and will say whatever it takes to have you sign your kid up. He has no showed to private lessons, overcharge on monthly payments. Business is not organized. Many other karate places where you can trust the instructors really care about your kids and not just your money. Save your time and frustration!

It took me forever to get my 9yr old nephew to pick or engage in a sport. We were on a mission. We finally landed at Ageless Karate. We went in and talked to Sensei Jo. Immediately after the chat Mason was so excited to start right away. These people really care about these kids and the parents. The best thing is they have classes available for every age group and offer self defense classes ladies. The personal attention and care u will receive is outstanding. Mason is over the moon. I encourage everyone to stop into the best dojo ever and check it out for yourself. Thank you to you and your staff

Sensei Joe is very patient with my kids, they are learning discipline, respect and honor, which all kids need. We signed them to teach them courage, self confidence and focus. My husband is also taking classes to get his black belt, which he was very close to getting some 20 years ago.
The dojo is open every day of the week, which is very flexible with our busy schedules.
We feel lucky to have Sensei Joe as a leader and role model to our kids.

Not many martial arts schools have truly caring and considerate instructors with programs tailored to foster the growth in everyone. Ageless karate is great, no other way to put it! Thank you so much!

Excellence is earned not given
This karate school teaches excellent I pride. I have never been so challenged As I am with this dojo. The staff is friendly and encouraging and takes the time to personally know each student. Sandoval strives to teach real world application of this martial arts. I look forward to many years of study under this teacher. I would highly suggest this Jojo for anyone looking for real world applications especially those in security and law enforcement.
