History

Established in 2002.

Advanced Training Institute began as the Air Conditioning Technical Institute. Recognizing the shortage of trained HVAC/​R technicians in Las Vegas, the founders started the school to provide quality training in the field. In 2007, Air Conditioning Technical Institute became Advanced Training Institute to embrace the expansion of technical training in Las Vegas. In 2009, ATI became accredited by the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET) and holds an additional programmatic accreditation by HVAC Excellence. For the Personal Fitness Trainer program, ATI is an Academic Partner of the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).

In 2012, ATI moved to a 63,000 square ft. facility on Decatur Blvd. The move allowed the addition of the Automotive and Electrician programs. ATI is now recognized as a leader in technical training in Las Vegas.
