Absolute Dental

Terrible, the made my gums bleed far too many time. The service was really shitty. Don’t go here unless if you want some blood loss

I’ve read all the reviews, but was referred here by a family friend, who loves them. They were wonderful with my little boys. They were pretty quick and efficient. I am taking the time to write a good review as people make sure to post when it’s a bad review but not when they’ve had a positive experience.

My second and third time here went a LOT better this time around. They knew my concerns and accomadated me much better. We were very vocal about the service we wanted this I got better workers out of it! Thanks to the professionals that did my surgery quick and painless! Keep it up. :)

You guys, I messed up. I Unilocal everything before trying it. If the reviews are crap, I don’t go. But this time… I went anyway. Please don’t make the same mistake I did! STAY AWAY!
I showed up for my 11 am appointment at 10:30, with my paperwork already filled out. I’m efficient like that. I expected to wait, since I was early. I did not expect to wait until 11:30. But, okay.
The tech asked why I was there, got a very brief history, took an x-​ray, and left. 10 minutes later, came back with the doctor, who’s name I do not know, as she did not introduce herself. She asked why I was being seen today, and what wanted done. I told her I have a retained baby tooth, my right canine, and it finally came loose. I wanted it pulled, and wanted to know what my treatment options were after that.
She agreed to pull the tooth, and offered me a referral to their ortho department (I went, and for god’s sake, DON’T GO THERE EITHER!). I was out of the office by 12:30, missing a tooth, and with a referral in hand.
So why am I unhappy?

I have no idea who treated me
The «Exam rooms» are open, and loud, I know exactly what kind of treatment my neighbors were getting
Techs came in to ask the doctor questions about other patients, while she was pulling my tooth.
I was told I had some infection going on around the tooth, but was offered no antibiotics, but she did offer me a prescription for ibuprofen.

I don’t understand why every cranky ass person on here leaving bad reviews, (man the fuck up) I got some wisdom teeth removed and everybody treated me right, we joked for a little before I went to sleep for my procedure, which put me in a comfortable mood the people that helped me were Ismael, gio, ignacio, some lady,(sorry forgot her name) Dr. Lu, they we all professional and had a good sense of humor. The wait wasn’t that long. I would recommend this place for oral surgeries. I actually just woke up from my surgery right now (that felt like ten minutes) Dizzy but still having a good experience.

I went here because it’s super close to my house and seems to be the only place that’s in my insurance network. I arrived at 845 and my appointment time was 9 am. I was handed some paperwork and told to fill it out. I think she handed me the children’s paperwork because ALOT of it was very repetitious and redundant. How many times are you going to ask for my dob and ssn? Ok so by this time it was 930, not a big deal it happens at just about every doctors office. I was ok until about 945 and they start taking people who arrived AFTER I did. Then I started getting huffy. Of course I didn’t say anything because, well I’m non confrontational. FINALLY, at 1005 they called me back. I was really not impressed with the way the «rooms» were set up. There’s no privacy whatsoever. No doors, no ceiling that goes all the way up, NOTHING. Then the lady takes my X-​rays. She was super nice (which explains 3 stars despite wait time). Then the dr comes in with a different assistant and they loaded the wrong X-​rays. At least they figured it out before they started telling me about this other persons mouth. The dr poked and prodded my mouth and told me I need 5 fillings (which no other dentist has caught) and a crown replacement. Alright cool. After all was said and done I walked out of there at 1120. My appointment was at 9! That’s my biggest complaint was: no privacy and wait time. The staff were all nice to me and didn’t get frustrated by the questions I was asking.

I’m one of those people who never have a pleasant visit to the dentist, Absolute Dental did nothing to change that.
The good — ample seating in the waiting area and this location is conveniently located in the same shopping center as Walmart, Ross, and Rhapsodielle (so I can reward myself with some retail therapy after braving the dentist.)
The bad — the wait time is ridiculous. I was left unattended for 30 minutes at a time, where they left me watching a gory movie with people’s limbs being chopped off. My hygienist also did not know what she was doing. She had trouble putting the heads of the cleaning instruments on and had to ask another hygienist what she was missing and how to work it. My dentist also said I had a very-​very minuscule cavity and its best if they make the hole bigger to fill it and since it was very small I would not need anything for numbing it. I don’t know, I just feel like they’re trying to rip me by making holes in my mouth to get more money. My trip to the dentist took 2 hours all in all, I most likely won’t be back.

Had a root canal done here. Temp crown fell off twice before I got my permament tooth in. Year later, went to a different dentist who told me the crown had an overhang on it and needed to be replaced. Went back to Absolute Dental to make them redo it. Second crown didn’t fit right either so had to redo it again. Luckily, the third time was the charm. An overall nightmare.

Not happy with this place. I got seen here as well as my 2 kids, they did an ok job on cleaning our teeth but they we so busy that they seemed like they were rushing to get us out of there. This place has like 10 different doctors and a ton of assistants running all over the place and seeing so many patients at once that I’m sure they don’t remember who cleaned who’s teeth. Horrible experience, id rather drive a few more miles to get to a better dental clinic.

Unorganized. First said that they needed to fill a cavity and then after a long wait, said it was not me that needed the filling. Wife had the same issue. Very unorganized and long waits. Assembly line.

This location has a dental surgeon as well as takes care of kids.
I had my wisdom tooth and a broken molar removed here. I opted not to be sedated for the procedure because I had to drive myself home. When they put the shot of novacane into my mouth I think (I’m not a doctor) they hit a nerve. It felt like my entire face erupted with fire, it was one of the most painful experiences I’ve ever had.
The doctor was extremely upset that I cried out in pain, and complained that there were children there and that I would upset them. Its pretty lame to have a dentist being cross with you when you’re in pain and have tears streaming down your face. The assistants told me that I should be able to handle a shot because I have tattoos as if the pain ratio is remotely the same thing.
They also were reluctant to prescribe me any pain medication for after the procedure. I had a lot of dental work done during the prior two weeks and had used my previous prescription according to the directions while I waited to have the broken molar removed. The assistant told me that I was taking too much, and made me feel very uncomfortable because I felt like they were judging me based on my appearance. Just because I look different doesn’t make me a pill popper.
Although I had no complications I would not go here again. I have never been afraid of going to the dentist but after this experience I am scared of needles.
