History
Established in 1994.
It all started back in 1994 when three friends opened their first barber shop. A look back to see how this all got started begins with a selection from a news article written almost 20 years ago.
~“Las Vegas Review Journal April 20, 1994″~ There is still something to be said for having a dream, working hard, believing in yourself and realizing the payoff. Just ask Mike, Curt, and Tim, the three new bosses of A Cut Above the Rest.
Theirs is a story about three young men from predominately black West Las Vegas who avoided the all-too-common fates of gangs, drugs, prison or violent death.
After five years of building their barber skills and saving their money, Michael Jones, Curtis Anderson and Timothy «Tim-O» Wilkinson held a grand opening Tuesday of their barber shop.
Now fast forward to TODAY and in a few short months «A Cut Above the Rest» will be celebrating our 20th anniversary!
