24 Hour Laundromat Twain

Where is Carlos?
Heyy. Been going here for years. Since 2008. WHERE IS CARLOS??? That’s all I care about.
The employees still there are nice, but none of them know which machines get hot water or not and none can fix the machines when they do something weird. If I wanted to gamble, I’d go to the casino, not put $ 4.75 in a machine to wonder if its gonna get hot water. And the 2 really big ones last night, seriously barely any water went in them. The wash water never came in through the top so I couldn’t add my beach in. I mean, did they even re-​fill with new water? I saw them spin like to get the water out. The orig water and final rinse was all that came through the top. And somehow for the final rinse, when I opened the flap, the water is somehow set to SQUIRT PPL IN THE EYES! No kidding! I’m SO not kidding. BOTH machines for the last rinse, when I lifted the flap, squirted me in the eyes. OMG. WHERE IS CARLOS???
I LIKED this place bc these old, big machines used to fill with a lot of water, to really get clothes clean, CHEAP. Idk, some one named Dave fixes them now? (WHERE is Carlos!!) (A machine caught on fire the other night. What??) Carlos used to keep on top of ALL the machines and their particular problems. Bc they are each special and different in their own way. They are their own special snowflake. This isn’t a laundromat, it’s a half-​way house for challenged washing machines. Say you’d fill up a few machines with your clothes and and they’d do something wrong? Carlos could stop them and reset them with the correct settings. He knew how to make the hot water go in. Now you have to wait for the whole cycle and wash them again (IF you want hot water or to be able to add bleach). Uggghhh. The girls are nice and if you complain they will give you money to wash again. But you’re out all that time.
I get (understand) cheap. (Hell, I’m cheap!) But NOT paying a decent wage to the ONLY person capable (and willing!) run your business and losing him at the expense of all the customers who relied on him is just stupid and bad business. If the new owner were saving for a kidney, I could maybe understand. MAYBE. But to be that cheap for greed is stupid, and I’m resentful I no longer have a reliable way to wash my clothes both with bleach and hot water and feel confident my stuff isn’t going to come home with some gross stuff melted into it! Some gum or something was melted into a sheet that I had to scrub out with a sponge. Ugggh.

Day: overcrowded. Normal non-​homeless ppl but too many of them. Wayyyy too many.
Night: homeless/​street-​ppl/​crackhead types
OK, it just came to me how to describe this place AT NIGHT:
Listen. I’m not a nice person when it comes to reviews. I’m sorry to use the examples I do. I feel for the homeless and drug addicted, I do.
Think Blood/​plasma donation centers like down town and who goes there– think methadone clinic– think homeless ppl with shopping carts– all doing laundry touching the same buttons you gotta touch. Same washers/​dryers you gotta put your stuff into– And HOW do you clean/​disinfect inside a dryer? YOU CAN’T.
If you are like a I-​came-​to-​Vegas-​to-​party kind of person, the filth probably won’t dissuade you from the degree of convenience to be that close to the strip. But if you live here, and you really look around at how dirty it
Now that Carlos is gone, and the washers (the 2 big ones esp) are 100% unreliable, the place is intolerable.
Please someone tell me where Carlos went. I’ve heard he’s at another laundromat. Please message me! Thank you!
PS: Rating is a 2 bc I like the ppl that still work there, otherwise it’d be a 0 (now that Carlos is gone.)

I come here to wash our comforter since our home washer and drier aren’t large enough to accommodate it.
The place is relatively clean (in fact I see the attendants cleaning it while I wait for the laundry to complete). They do have TVs, but the volume isn’t loud enough to be distracting, in fact I’ve been studying just fine here.
Disregard the few hysterical reviews stating this place is unsafe or unclean. They are patently false. It’s really just code for «I miss white suburbia».

I was encouraged by the good reviews, but highly disappointed when I arrived.
First of all, this place is very close to the Strip. It’s a very poor neighborhood. I went on a Saturday night, and it was extremely crowded. The TV was very loud, on a Spanish channel. And it didn’t feel especially safe.
They had many different brands of washers, many were out of order. The change machine was broken.
I wound up at Valu Wash on Tropicana and Spencer instead. Much better neighborhood! Much nicer facility. Quiet and uncrowded. It is also open 24 hours. And the prices are quite reasonable.

My family and I had to come here because our washer at home broke and it was taking at least a week to get a replacement. This place is a little too ghetto for me but the owner was super nice! And you can use more than one machine at once so we got in and out of there pretty fast! Thankfully because the cops were coming out to stop the girls from «working» yikes!

I come to Vegas often, and am happy to have found this place in order to do a quick load or two during those longer visits.
This location is open 24/​7, is very clean, has tons of machines and extremely affordable.
I was in and out within an hour and completed a load for very little $$$$: It was just $ 1.75 to wash and $ 0.50 to dry ($ 0.25 per 10 minutes in a huge tumble dry machine).
Highly recommended, and as other reviewers have mentioned, the location is convenient and there are some really great Mexican food places in the same strip mall.

The staff was very helpful, detergent was free and if I’m ever in need of laundry again in Vegas, I’ll know where to go.

Same day service gets picked up at 5AM and the clerk told me this like it was my bad for being there at 8:30 in the morning. The reviews didn’t mention that and now I’m driving around hunting for somewhere to get my shirts cleaned and pressed.
I can’t speak for the service since I didn’t get any. And I can’t fault the clerk for her attitude… who knows the types of personalities she has to deal with daily. My rating is a 3 instead of a 2 for those reasons alone.
Glad I didn’t walk or take a cab over here like some of the other reviewers. It would have been an even bigger disappointment. Also, definitely a shady area…

I took the taxi from the flamingo and had to wash about 8 pounds of clothes. Wash was 2 $ and drying is 25 cents per 10 minutes. Including the taxi back and forth (10 $ for each trip incl. Tip) I paid 23 $ for clean clothes (full suitcase). There’s a seven eleven on the corner for drinks. Or a mcd for food.

If you work in this city, especially as a business traveler, this will be your new favorite laundromat.
They offer same-​day wash & fold services (usual turn around is between 2.5−3 hours) and are open ²⁴⁄₇! No more having to worry about rushing to make it in time after work. They also offer dry-​cleaning services.
The wash and fold is $ 1.50 per pound, an awesome deal if you ask me, even with their 5 pound minimum. They can wash and press shirts for $ 2, and dry-​cleaning starts at $ 3 I think. Overall, really great pricing. Not the lowest in town, but definitely the best value for quality service.
The parking lot (and street) they are located in isn’t the cleanest looking, but I’ve always felt safe. You just learn to ignore the few, random crazies nearby. This establishment is fully trustable and I know every time I give them my clothes that they’ll do a great job without damaging any of it.

It is a great place to wash your cloth on the road. The price is much better than hotel. It is a super busy place, but the people are still very nice and do their best to help.

Wizardry! I brought in clothing that was moderately soiled and 41 minutes after I put my clothes in the sorcerers magic water box, they were clean. Best show in Vegas!

Eventhough the mini-​mall is hella sketch and the patrons look like a scene from locked up the service is great and the staff kind. I wouldnt come in at 2am with a rolex cause you may get jacked. But the la dry fluff and fold is $ 1.75 per lb

Great option for the regular more pricier service offered on the hotels.
Its not to far from the Strip, and if you dont manage to walk it off (as i did), you can always do it the american way (by car). Depending on how much dirty clothes you have got, its probably even worth it to cab it off here.
You can either do it yourself or leave it for them to do it. I left it in the morning and picked it up 4 hours later. If you leave it to them, they charge you by the pounds, and the dry-​clean option is charged by pcs. I did the wash and fold option which they charge me almost nothing for.
Fast, convenient and accurate service… isnt that what its all about?

They operate as a do it yourself laundromat or as a full service wash and fold. If you are traveling through, the wash and fold service is well worth it! They promise a turnaround time of 5 hours, but it will probably be done before that. They are quick and efficient.
It is fairly easy to access from the Strip or a bus. The 108 or the tourist busses will drop you off at the corner of Sands Avenue and Paradise road. From the strip the 203 goes down Sands/​Twain and will drop you off across the street from the laundromat. The east side of sands is Twain Avenue and the laundromat is about a half a block walk.
The staff is very nice, and as I mentioned, the full service is very affordable. The location is convenient, and if you want a taco, I can also highly recommend the Taqueria across the parking lot!

It’s not very often you can find a place to do laundry that you can bear to hang out in, but I finally have! Not only is this business absolutely affordable, it’s so clean! They’re full service too, which is cool. Free WiFi is awesome, nice vending machines, and their AC actually works! I did feel safe in here at night, which us also tough to find here on the east side. I’m sold. This is my new laundry spot!

I come to this strip mall for 2 reasons:
* delicious el pastor burritos from nearby taquerias
* affordable, constantly available, reasonably prices dry cleaning
This place gets 4 stars because the gentlemen who manages the place actually found cash in the back pocket of some slacks I dropped off AND FOUND ME AND GAVE ME BACK MY MONEY!
The availability of service is great. My schedule’s hectic and I come take care of laundry on MY TIME ONLY.
The room to improve definitely comes from the riff-​raff who frequent the area. I might suggest coming in the daytime for those ladies traveling alone. I hear they’re working on this…
The other things that keep me coming back include the tasty burritos across the parking lot .

So I’m really, really funny about packing up dirty clothes in my suitcase when I’m on vacation — in other words, I don’t like doing it and I prefer to take them to a laundromat. Figuring that Vegas has laundromats (hey, what town doesn’t?), I Unilocaled and found this place — it turns out that my husband used to live right in this neighborhood and knew exactly where it was, so we drove over with our filthy garments and a whole lot of quarters.
It’s a standard laundromat, nothing more and nothing less. Looks like they’ll wash the stuff for you, too, but I like doing things myself and it wasn’t too much trouble. The free Wifi was definitely a plus! Just get the password from the lady at the dry cleaning counter.
Interestingly, all of the instructions on the machines are in Spanish. It’s a good thing that 1. my husband knows Spanish and 2. I know what «lavar con agua caliente» means, or I’d be totally screwed. They have television, but it’s also all in Spanish. If you follow soap operas, though, you’ll have a ball here catching up!
When I was here there was a Unilocal deal for 10 free minutes of drying. May not seem like a big deal, but their dryers are HUGE and very, very hot, so we actually did save a little money here.
If you need to wash clothes and want to save money, come here and do it (or have them do it) vs. paying the hotels beacoup bucks. It’s worth it.

It’s okay for what it is.
Located on the south side of the road just between Paradise and Swenson Roads on Twain, it is both easy to find and easy to get to from just about anywhere in the city.
I recently had to move to graveyard shift at my job, so on my off days I like to keep my sleep schedule somewhat consistent. So, it is nice to be able to take care of some chores in the middle of the night. The perk of this being that most of these places are pretty much barren and you can get things accomplished much quicker!
The Laundromat is relatively clean compared to some other ones I’ve been to in the city. In fact, almost the entire time I was there tonight, a guy was pretty much cleaning around the place non-​stop! They have soda and snack machines around. I couldn’t resist getting an ice cream bar from the ice cream machine they have there. Although, stay away from the gumball machines! The gum in those things are hard as bricks! Yikes!
The heavy duty load washer was 3.75 a load and the dryers were 0.25 for 10 minutes. Not bad at all! What I like is that they have a working change machine inside. It never ceases to amaze me how many Laundromats in this city don’t have that.
They also have several TV’s for something to watch to kill time and there is a 24 Hour Mexican food place about 20 steps away if you want to grab something to munch on that will stay with you for about 8 hours.
I was pretty much left alone to do my thing and that was perfect. I only hit a Laundromat once a month or so, so I will certainly be back. It’s nothing glamorous, but certainly fulfills its purpose.
