History

Established in 2014.

Upon graduating NMSU with 6 years extensive dance performance and teaching experience, it was natural for me to follow my passion and continue to do what I love, so I became a professional dance instructor and have been doing so for the past year and see no end and all possibility in sight.

Every dancer has a unique story and Leonard’s is no different. He was raised, not born, and has lived almost all his life in Las Cruces, NM. In grade school he was a musician destined to go to college on a music scholarship, hard won from a competitive citywide selection. Upon entering college, he decided to completely change course and search anew for his passion in life. With an everlasting love of music mixed with a concoction of chance and peer pressure, he choose to enroll into the introduction to social dance classes in the Spring of 2008.

Between witnessing the inspirational performance of then, Vice Champions, Victor and Anna combined with the powerful guidance and belief of Mentor and Coach, Betty Burgess, Leonard has realized his dreams as a dancer and teaching others to dance.
