Simple Radiance

Well that was weird.
I’ve had a few treatments here, and went in to ask about other options. This place was recommended.
I asked the front desk lady (blonde hair, older, been working there for a while) about injections/​treatments other than botox for facial lines. She said she did not know of any.
Very odd– I know of at least one (Dysport) and know of vaguely about dermal fillers… and I don’t work in a skin care clinic.
I asked about the owner’s daughter, who I know personally and care about her welfare. She said she did not know anything about this person… although this person fills in working from time to time.
Bottom line, I felt blown off. I was the only person in the waiting room, so being «so busy» does not explain this brush-​off treatment. I will be looking elsewhere for future skin care treatments.

I had laser hair removal-​bikini, lip & underarm @ Simple Radiance 8 or 9 years ago & am very happy w/​the results. Have gone for a touchup every 2 –3 years. Today, I used the coupon available on Unilocal and it paid for the whole service. Karen is my go to technician & she is a pro!

Great clean place. I don’t have much experience with other spas/​laser skin care places, but these folks seem good!

i had a appointment 10am for botox. when i arrived i was told it will be few minute. some time goes by i looked at the clock it was ten after ten. i looked at the clock it was 10:20. then the receptionist told me will need to reschedule you no nures schedule them self to work today OH REALLY you didnt now that before to call me and cancell the appointment. no resepect for their clients time, who is in charge of this office the nurses or the office manager. dont waste your time or money at this place go to sprit in mill valley where you get great botox and RESPECT. will not go back.

I was pleasantly shocked how well their laser equipment worked! i’d had several treatments at other places, and while I’m not sure exactly what the difference is, I can tell you this place has great equipment based on the results. I really liked the nurse who did the laser also, and the reception was very nice and welcoming. I’d recommend it for sure.

absolutely the best!!! I came here for one of their laser hair removal specials and was soooo impressed I won’t go anywhere else. I am very fair complexioned and get sun damage easily. Their new BBL laser has literally transformed my skin! And when you want just a little pampering, the microderm facial is the best. What can I say… I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!

Aracele is a great aesthetician and she gives you the real talk, even if it hurts a little. I can take the honesty and she did it without trying to «sell» me. Then she gave me suggestions and tools to deal with my problem. I followed her recommendation and am very pleased. Like her manual technique on my face.

Been going here for over a year for different cosmetic procedures. They are skilled at what they do, they are nice and fair. I recommend you check them out.

I was given Simple Radiance products as a gift and could not be more impressed with the products. For years I have been trying to find a moisturizer that wasn’t to harsh on my skin and cause me to break out. The product that I have been using is so gentle and my skin loves it. I also have had radiation on a section of my face, which means that section is forever dry and in constant need of miniaturization. I put my Simple Radiance moisturizer on in the morning and I do not need to reapply all day.

I have to say, Karen Cohn is a gifted technician. From Botox to filler, I feel like a new woman. Karen has removed deep frown lines, removed sun damage, and softened my laugh lines. I swear I look Ten Years younger !!! Being in the beauty business, I have tried several reputable skin care business in Marin and am delighted to have found Simple Riacne. The staff has been very gracious with scheduling and explanations.

Just moving to the area recently I was referred to Aracele at Simple Radiance by my boss (who has great brows!) I scheduled a facial and a brow wax with her. My first appointment, she recommended that I forgo a brow wax and wait 3 weeks to allow them to grow out a bit. I thought that this was so kind and unusual — that she rather have me cancel the wax in order for my brows to look the best rather than make a sale. I went back in a month and she gave me a great shape, without over waxing. She is very good at enhancing the natural shape. I highly recommend her for facials, waxing and lash tinting … Not only will she make you look good, she will make you feel great!
I have seen Kricky three times so far for laser hair removal. She is so fun and makes you feel totally comfortable. She is quick and thorough. The hair on my lip is so much thinner and almost gone! Kricky is great.
Go to Simple Radiance. It is a well managed clean facility that treats their clients well!

You might call Simple Radiance, a super beauty treatment center, because that’s what it has been for me and all my girlfriends for almost ten years.
They have THE best facial services anywhere, THE best cosmetic services anywhere, and THE best laser hair removal anywhere! I have used them all.
Krickie is my laser hair removal technician there and she is so easy to work with and sweet. I trust her and you really need to trust your laser person because of the highly personal work they do for you. She is also very generous with her time and laser services, something that I appreciate very much.
Simple Radiance has always been an efficient, well coordinated team effort. Through all the staff changes, management changes, and economic challenges, Simple Radiance has come through nicely.

I was referred to Simple Radiance by my friend and man what a find! I have gone in several times since February of this year. They have so many services with great packages! My skin looks amazing.

Araceli is great! I have seen her for brows and she does a very nice job, without overshaping (I prefer a fuller brow). My friends swear by her facials too. :)

I have been going to Spa Radiance for 7 years even now that I have moved away from Marin, I still return every often for all sorts of treatments i.e. laser with Krykie, microdermasion with the truly amazing Areceli or diolite with Karen R. They are reasonably priced and will work with you if the end result is not as you expected. Each lady I have encountered there has been an absolute professional. I have been going to Areceli since I was 18 for waxing, facials and now microdermabrasions. She very knowledgeable and warm! I adore her. Krykie is sweet and careful. Karen R. will FIX your issues. I have referred numerous family and friends. So I give them a solid 5 because expert skin care is available and affordable with trustworthy people.

I got a package for laser hair removal on the bikini area here. The first treatment was extremely effective, about 70% of hair was removed. By the second treatment 90% was removed. They also have the Diolite laser for sunspots, which is a one time alternative to IPL. My mother is very happy with the single Diolite treatment that removed melasma on her cheeks. I decided I kind of like my freckles. The laser is not uncomfortable, like they say a rubber band snapping. I have tried other lasers such as: Lightsheer, Lightsheer Duet, and Sciton on the bikini area and nothing has been as effective as Gentlelase.
At Simple Radiance they use Gentlelase by Candela. It shoots out a mist to numb the area when zapping it. I would have tried Simple Radiance sooner but there are only a handful of reviews. People seem very happy when going here so I don’t understand why there are only like 5 reviews.
I can usually get an appointment the same week or the following week. They also have a very funny commercial for laser hair removal on youtube by the founder of Simple Radiance.

Stay away! To brgin with, the place is ugly and shabby — furnished with stuff from somebody’s attic or the flea market.
Suzanne, mentioned in other reviews, was indeed very gruff but she did not sell you what she considered unsuitable. If I had listened to her I would have saved over $ 2000 because she did not recimmend JUVIDERM but I then went to Dr. Aycock and got it — and it turned out a total waste. Not one person complimented me and I too could see no improvements.
Karen is not as skilled as Suzanne was and I cannot recommend her. The employees at Simple Radiance seem to be there for socializing and they ignore the clients. You will be kept waiting and then be treated like a nuisance.

I arrived 15 minutes before my appointment and the nurse (Susannah) was running 15 minutes behind. When she took me into the treatment room she was really short with me which I found to be quite rude. She became impatient (because she was running late) and implied it was my fault the front desk «squeezed» me into that specific time slot… like I was out to inconvenience her.
After we were finished she told me to call in 3 days after the swelling subsided which I did not because she asked me to, but because it was so uneven and needed correcting. I had some SERIOUS Billy Idol face going on and it was embarrassing. I returned to have her fix it, but she felt uncomfortable doing that, so she offered to give me half of my money back Half? Really? I then went and paid to have it fixed down the street with Dr. Polous, thank god!
The results were less than ample and the disrespectful attitude was appalling. I just spent $ 500 on my face and for that… I guess I just expected a little bit more in the customer service department. Very disappointing!

I did one session of laser hair removal here with Crickie… she really took a lot of time explaining the whole process. She was so nice and professional. the place was very clean. I went with a friend to a place in Union Square to have hers done and this place was way cleaner and friendlier. They do Sat appointments and there was plenty of parking.

I really needed some Botox as I haven’t had any for 2 years now. I see the ad %25 off first time customers.
I enter the business and Susie is talking to her coworker at the front desk while I take a sit. What she said disturbed me, Susie put her nose so far up in the air while she said «she is dirty». They were gossiping about someone.
I go in with Susie knowing exactly what I want which was about 45 units or so all together at the middle of the forehead between the brows and around the mouth. Susie recommends to me only 18 units for between the forehead. It’s all worn off now and I’m pissed that she didn’t give me what i wanted. I think she didn’t want to give %25 off of a larger quantity.
