This place is a rip off. The dr doing the rye exam is incompetent and could not even get me a prescription as good as the glasses I have now. The exam is just a rip off to sell you very expensive frames and lenses. I will go to Eye Glass World and get 2 pair of glasses with prescription lenses and and eye exam for ¹⁄₃ the price this place wanted for 1 pair. Go somewhere else and get a better exam and a lot cheaper price on the same products.

The whole staff there is super friendly and so helpful. They have eye wear for every personality. I myself like the funkier glasses and they had it all.

I called first and was invited by a very pleasant but businesslike lady to bring my glasses in to be assessed. I thought «Onsite repair people! Excellent!» Easy to find due to the strip mall location. Large store. Guy I’ll call AU for Abrupt & Unengaging took my glasses and disappeared into the back after I explained I was there to see if my frames could be repaired. He reappeared briefly to ask if I was aware I had a cracked lens. I said I was but it was the opposite side of the frame that needed repair. Oh he says and disappears to the back again. At this point I’m kinda steamed about the lack of explanation provided about what’s going on with the only thing that’s allowing me to navigate so I talk to an older gentleman sitting at the transaction counter. «I’m accustomed to getting an explanation of what repair is possible, an estimate, and a request for ok to proceed.», I tell him. He was very kind and patient in his response that the glasses could definitely be repaired and there would be no charge. Blew me away. Then he explained the repair method to be used, at which point a taller guy comes out of the back, my glasses in hand, good to go! I love this place! All but AU guy. Then the nice lady I spoke to on the phone walked by, introduced herself and said she was pleased I was happy with the repair. I hugged everybody! Except AU guy. He could take a lesson from all the others here! What really gets me is that they could have easily told me I needed new frames being an out of town visitor but the older gentleman advised against that (I wouldn’t have gone for it anyway) and said live with the repair until I got home and then replace. Good for him! I think I could recommend this place to everyone!

Well, that’s what they want you to think — that the internet is a crazy place, with totally degenerate companies trying to rip you off. I feel the opposite is true! I got brand new glasses that fit perfectly from 2 different online vendors; for three pairs it was half the price of the lenses that this company quoted me ($ 336 for progressive lenses alone). What they tell you is simply untrue. Accurate lenses CAN indeed be purchased online. And you can get the fancy stuff if you want it (tinted, UV protection, anti-​glare). My prescription was accurately filled, my PD measurement took care of the fit, and I just adore the amazing selection online. Tremendous value and wonderful selection! You can get the designer ones, too!
I got progressive lenses that fit. I got sunglasses, too. I got another pair just because that pair, from
, was free. Okay, it was really $ 18.18. Non progressives, but they are gorgeous and I can wear them for a lot of things! I also scored big at
. Their progressive lenses were $ 39. Instead of $ 336. I find this to be incredible.
Dear Kara and Darlene O: thank you for replying to me. I’m sorry that the cat is out of the bag. It’s too bad that you will be able to rip off less people. But we can all learn from this, and maybe your snarky staff can humble down a little. I was never asked what my budget was. I was treated with arrogance. I was treated in a hurtful manner.
