History
Established in 1957.
Hammock Hardware was founded in 1957 by Doc and Bonnie Hammock. The original store was located just to the west of its present location next to Walt’s Chevron which was on the corner of Oakhurst
Road and Walsingham Road. In 1972 the store was moved to its present location where it has operated continuously since 1972. In April of 2008 Mrs. Hammock sold the store to Rodney and Brent
Finke and Brent manages the day to day operations of the store. Not much changed — not even the name. We still strive to keep to the values and principles that Doc and Bonnie founded, and operated,
the store with for more than 50 years. Our customers are the most important part of our business and customer service is our top priority. Without our customers we don’t have a business.
