Camden Largo Town Center

Its convenient for walking to metro and shopping stores, great location. If they had upgraded kitchen and bathrooms then it would be worth paying the high rent. The gate is always broke. I believe tenant’s pay for the gate. I payed for camden t. v even though i already have my own cable service (xfinity) an alarm i never used or activate. Maintenance took the next day to come and JUST LOOK when my ceiling flooded in my dinning area and laudry unit for the people upstairs washing machine. Relief im not there anymore specially since its about to get hot outside soon, im sure that apt will smell. Most of my neighbors moved out because of the rent. Ppl move out of camden all the time.

Enough times when reading reviews I notice there’s an abundance of negative talk concerning a product or place and never enough positive words spoken. Those whom are happy tend to be occupied with the enjoyment of a thing. The unhappy are just that… unhappy! When we’re unhappy we do what unhappy people do… complain, complain, and fuss and complain.
Well I’m not gonna go that route. I would rather shone light on the positive aspects of my experience. Especially when it out weighs the slight inconveniences.
I am a new resident here at Camden Largo Towne Center. I’m happy thus far. That mainly stems from the staffs ability to provide good customer service. Their patience and willingness to assure my family and I of a smooth transition has been simply great.
Now are their some things with Camden that can be approved upon. Yes. But I believe this place has a team in the front office with the willingness and ability to bring the needed changes to fruition. The other part comes from the people here working together to help make their NOW home a comfortable and pleasurable experience.

The apartments are nice in size. However, during my 15-​month lease, it wasn’t the greatest experience.
When I moved in March 2013, I saw at least three different residents move out. I asked them what was wrong with the complex. One person said the place was overpriced for crappy management. In which I agree. Another person said there were too many hiding fees and the third said it were a lot of reasons but the main one was you pay for ‘valet trash’ and they don’t always pick up. I saw all of the issues while at Camden.
Every time it snowed, it took a day or two to put salt on the sidewalks. Don’t expect salt to be placed on the road! Trying to get out of the complex when it snows is hard unless you have a truck. It’s always icy at the ONE exit gate.
The gate constantly breaks so you pay for a «gated» community, but half the time, the gate is out of service or cards don’t work.
Management constantly changes. No one answers the phone when you call. You have to go in.
My washing machine messed up so many times including flooding twice. The first flood, it took three days for someone to come look at the cheap machine. The apartment began to smell like mold.
The best thing about the apartment to me is all the shopping in walking distance and the metro. But if you live in the middle of the apartment complex, you have to walk all the way to the front or all the way to the back for a walk out gate. You will see people on foot weekday mornings at the ONE car exit gate waiting for a car to come so the gate would open.
There were more issues, but I think I hit the major points. I hoped this helps.

This is my second year living in this apartment complex. And I seen so many turn around on Management. The only gate to get out seem to always be broken, there have been multiply robberies, (I’m assuming its the location), the parking spaces have gotten smaller, so there is always a nitch on my vehicle. There are some shady people in these apartments, but that is just everywhere. Yes its a beautiful apartment, but the raise of the rent is ridiculous! I wouldn’t waste my time. I rather waste it in traffic, and that’s saying a lot for DC area. I cant wait to get out of my lease. I give this a 2 star because yes, the apartments are nice, and your next to a metro. But that’s just it… nothing more.

Apartments are nice and roomy, but the management is terrible. They rarely answer the phone, I’ve had to leave my job to confront management in person. I had to put in 3 – 4 requests for maintenance before anyone responded. The kids in the neighborhood are wild and unsupervised. Between my first and second year they attempted to raise my rent by $ 300. Living here can be stressful but I give the community 2 stars because like I said, the apartment was nice and because of it’s convenient location.
