If you want to feel as if you are having a true, Mexico-style shopping trip, stroll on into this Walmart location. You will feel like you are literally in a foreign country with all the customers, including men in «taco shell» cowboy hats & pointed boots, severely obese children running amok and women who wear way too much make-up. Oh, by the way, why do the women in Laredo wear so much freaking makeup at WALMART? Muffin tops prevail here! Also, for some unknown reason, everyone at this location stares HARD at people that are from out of town. I think they thought I was a martian from planet URANUS when I strolled by. This Walmart is not a super duper store, so you are NOT going to have access to the same type of merchandise as the big Walmarts. This particular location reminds me of the Walmarts from the 80’s. Small, fart-smelly and filthy.

I’m mot a fan of this Walmart. It’s old, always packed, feels dirty(probably because it’s old), and has a poor layout. Also, it’s not a supercenter… There’s a much better Walmart at 2615NE Bob Bullock Loop(about 6 miles north).

This is probably the worse WalMart in Laredo, it’s close to the border and mostly visited by our neighbors crossing the border. During the holiday season this place is a zoo. Customers are rude and they destroy the store in a frenzy. It’s one of the busiest with very few lines open and lines extending halfway through the store. If you need to visit a Walmart while in Laredo I recommend the one on the Loop.
