With 18 years experience our knowledge will help you find a window treatment to complement your décor and fit into your budget. We design roman shades, draperies, custom cornices, bedding, upholstery and slipcovers. Window Expressions has access to the New York design center and will bring fabric samples to you.

Our service includes professional measuring and installation to ensure a perfect fit. We are trained and certified every year to flawlessly install the entire line of Hunter Douglas window fashions.

Business Owner

Kay Winston has a clothing construction design background dating back to high school. Ms. Winston sewed and tailored clothing which led her to the fashion industry in New York City.

Kay Winston started her career as a Lord & Taylor Assistant Buyer then moved on to Frederick Atkins where she was responsible for purchasing apparel such for member department stores.

Her experience at Frederick’s jumped started a position at Seventeen Magazine where she became Sportswear Editor. in 1993, Kay combined her talent of sewing and tailoring clothing into making her own roman shades and draperies for her new company Window Expressions.

Kay Winston recognized the quality and innovation of Hunter Douglas Window Fashions. Windows Expressions is now a Hunter Douglas Priority Dealer that specializes in selling Hunter Douglas blinds, shades and shutters for the past 18 years. Shopping service is offered for fabrics at D&D and Kay designs custom roman shades and drapes.
