I have been going to Visual Eyes in Lapeer since I was in 3rd grade. I would not trust ANYWHERE else with my eyes and my vision. Dr. Wallington is awesome!

I am very pro local business however after years of patronage I will no longer support the business. The prices are much higher than other local optical offices for the same products. I understand it is a business and therefore there to make money I feel like it is ridiculous to pay $ 450 for a pair of glasses.

Liked it and always went there until some prescription sunglasses cost literally twice as much as I was initially quoted (and not because of an insurance issue, which covered what was in the quote).
Doc made a mistake with the lenses while darkening them and had to reorder. When the second set came in, he charged me almost $ 200 total which was double the price given when I ordered them.
While the eye care is very good, the business ethics leave much to be desired.
