Food has always been fresh and good quality. The waiters are hit or miss sometimes. Sometimes you get someone who will refill your drinks and take plats, sometimes they don’t. That’s the only down side.

I’ve been to 2 buffets in the Lansing area. World Buffet was the worse of the 2. If I had a choice I would take me Andy family to Asian Buffet. It’s across from meridian mall in the same plaza as target. They have all around better food, better sushi selection and their crab Rangoon actually has filling in them. The staff at world buffet was nice but that’s about all I can say. The meat at their hibachi area looked off-putting. World buffet doe have the space to fit any party but so does Asian Buffet.

Unfortunately I gave this place one too many chances. Food quality is horrible. Tiny piece of chicken and a pound of breading. Their grill area where they cook the«steak»(I think its steak) we literally couldn’t swallow one piece of that meat. Lowest quality food swimming in MSG, breading, deep fried, greasy and apparently not handled properly as my friend and I were throwing up and on the toilet the last time we went there. Wait staff is rude, its family run and no one speaks english. Food is EXTREMELY slow coming out of the back. They’ll come by take your empty plates, look directly at your empty glass needing a refill and not refill it. You eventually have to ask, they act like the drinks are coming out of their paychecks. In their shoes, I’d rather have someone fill up on iced tea than eat more food lol. IMOWORSTBUFFETEVER!

Boot leg Chinese buffet. It’s cheap for a reason people. The food is primarily deep fried in nature, and the hibachi they have in the back is less than fresh. Servers seemed to disappear for great lengths of time, which lead to many dishes piling up, and no water to take down the salty food. Many other, better, options exist if you want all you can eat Chinese.

It is pretty good. for a buffet. Normally I don’t eat a buffets, most of them are nasty and make you sick afterwards. This one seems clean as far as the food goes. It is not fancy, or hip, or cute. The food is decent, it is as good as most takeout Chinese restaurants here in Lansing. They have a wide variety of food including salad bar, desert bar, Mongolian style BBQ, some pizza or other American dish for the kids, and of course Chinese. I am a fan of the kung pao chicken and the crab rangoons but pretty much everything is decent. The one cute younger waitress is our favorite, she is attentive and very friendly. I never have had to wait to get a drink refill, and they are good about taking dirty plates away when you are finished. Be sure to go at before 3:30 pm, the price goes up a couple dollars after that.

Food quality has gone down the last couple times I have eaten there with my husband. Also the waiter did not refill our drinks when he saw they were low, or even empty. Will not be going back.

This is one of those Chinese buffet places that alternates between just acceptable to pretty good. There’s a good variety of food and it is generally pretty tasty. However, in the dining area, there seems to be a cleanliness issue. There was a spilled beverage on the floor near my table that was never cleaned up the entire time I was there. And something that can only be described as a severely used dog chew rawhide on the floor near the exit(assume it was dropped by a customer?). Also a napkin or tissue that was stained and crumpled up on the floor along the corridor leading to the restrooms and exit. Pretty gross. During my previous visit only one week ago, I had no issues whatsoever and the place was spotless. Perhaps going there closer to closing time is when we find the problems. At lunch it was very clean. I will say this about the staff: they are friendly and always refill my beverage before it’s gone. I appreciate that.
