History

Established in 2001.

A small video company was formed under the name of UnoDeuce Productions. Formed by current Production Director, Paul J Schmidt, UnoDeuce was a company that set out to provide low-​cost, high-​quality media solutions for non-​profit, church-​based and small business organizations. Now after over a decade, UnoDeuce has won several national awards for its work in the video production realm, and has been part of a winning formula for numerous websites and media production tools for clients across the country. In 2005, UnoDeuce was asked to take over the production responsibilities of local metro Detroit cable program, Cooking With Cathy. With the help and expertise of UnoDeuce, Cooking With Cathy has now spread to nearly 250,000 homes as well as 1,000 views per month on their YouTube page. In 2010, after moving the base of operations from Royal Oak to Lansing, MI, UnoDeuce Productions became UnoDeuce Multimedia. That same year, the original web series, Funktified Food With Dan Vaill

Meet the Manager

Paul S.

Manager

Production Director Paul J Schmidt was bitten by the production bug at an early age after winning a national award for a public service announcement he co-​produced in high school. After graduating from Western Michigan University with a degree in Broadcasting and Cable productions, he spent several years in government television and non-​profit video production winning several awards for his production work in those arenas. His freelance work has landed him gigs in sports videography for high schools and eventually led to occasional gigs with ESPN, FOX Sports, and TSN.

Since 2001, he has led UnoDeuce Multimedia as the Production Director to national recognition winning awards for commercial and promotional video productions. He also engineered the full production responsibilities to the popular metro Detroit cable television program, Cooking with Cathy, which now airs in the greater Lansing area as well.
