After reading his reply, I called the owner today, spoke with Dave, explained my frustrations and why, happy to say I am receiving a refund for the service that I was provided that did not correctly fix my furnace! VERY MUCH appreciated! This may just have been an isolated incident, there are many good reviews and tho my experience was not the case, they have made me feel alot better by reimbursing me for a «fix» that looks like I didnt need. Thank You very much Dave and South Suburban for working to fix a wrong and I hope your business continues to do well.

I called them on a Monday morning and had a tech over a couple hours later. I would like to thank Brian R the tech for being very professional and explaining in detail of my issue with the unit. Me and my wife could not be happier with the service and price.

With winter fast approaching, I knew it was finally time to update my over 30 year old HVAC system. I called a few local companies, but after reading great reviews for South Suburban at
, I decided to call them for a quote. Dave, one of the owners, was the ONLY person to come to my house and actually spend time measuring my entire house to make sure we chose a system that would comfortably heat and cool my home. He spent time asking me questions about how I live in my home, if certain sections are too cold or too hot compared to the rest of the house. He took about 2 hours going over the particulars of American Standard’s systems, his company he owns with this 2 brothers, their background in HVAC systems and so on. I was impressed and decided to let them install my system. If you are shopping around, please don’t go by price! You have to shop based on who will do the best job installing your system. South Suburban uses well trained Union HVAC techs who went above and beyond the call of duty when installing my system. One of the install techs EVEN WRAPPED MY WATER HEATER FOR ME! I couldn’t believe he did that! I couldn’t have asked for a better install team. To top it all off, a few months before I decided to replace my HVAC system I purchased two boxes of filters. My new HVAC system won’t work with my old filters. Dave kindly offered to take my two boxes of old filters and exchange them for two boxes of new filters that will fit my HVAC system free of charge. C’mon…who does that sort of thing these days? That is customer care right down to the last detail. I’m impressed and South Suburban will be doing all my clean and checks from now on!

The tech was super friendly and helpful. He noticed several problems and fixed them promptly while quoting us for possible future work that wasn’t really necessary, just to get the fan to be quieter. He even called in to see if certain parts were still under warranty. He explained some things about the unit and made several easy recommendations that we can do ourselves. Prices were fair and we were able to get 15% off from a coupon on the website.
