The service was pretty horrible. The waitress was very standoffish and annoyed with us when we asked her a question about West Virginia alcohol laws. There was also another employee who was very rude when I told her there ZERO lettuce at the salad bar. The food was cold and half of it was not out. For $ 30 it is not worth it. There was no dessert out at one point and I’m pretty sure they just have to put that on a plate. Will not be coming back here. 2 of the 5 of us are servers and 1 of us majored in hospitality management and is high up at a Hilton hotel so we have some background in the food industry.

Our family ate here as a group during a week long vacation at adventures on the gorge. This is a buffet style dinner with very good food and very tasty desserts. We went early on a weeknight evening during the summer and it was pretty sparse. The service was excellent. The only downfall was the price. For what you pay, I don’t think you get all that much. What they are trying to do is give vacation goers a high end option for dining, and with some work they can make it that.

Great breakfast buffet with thick cut slabs of bacon with a hint of maple syrup, awesome dinner after a day of fighting the rapids, climbing the peaks or zipping down zip lines. The night we ate there duck was the main entrée and it was superb. We’ll definitely have to do it again next time we go white water rafting.

Overpriced, mediocre food. Great atmosphere and view though. But you can get the view without having to buy the overpriced food.
