I had my taxes and my daughter’s taxes prepared at Simplified this year. I had a $ 20 off coupon from their web site. The appointment process went smoothly. The phone was answered by a live person, not a machine. My appointment was on time and I was not kept waiting. The office was clean and parking was right at the door. Having two state and two federal returns prepared in one sitting was a little costly but mine are complicated and I wanted them done correctly. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I received refunds from both state and federal. Honestly, I expected to have to pay. Electronic filing was fast and easy, and I received my refunds in about one week.
Recently I had to phone Simplified because I could not locate my daughter’s return and needed it to complete her FASFA application. I phoned and was told that yes, I certainly could get that document. If I were to pick it up in person, it would cost $ 10. But Paula told me that she could email it to me for free. I was very pleased with their service both times. Highly recommended.
