Not only the absolute worst fried chicken I’ve ever had my life, absolutely the worst FOOD I’ve ever had my life. The store is mismanaged to the point where you have to wonder not IF they’re smoking crack, but how MUCH crack they’re smoking inside that place. I received no honey, no butter, no hot sauce, no fork, no napkins, and I will never go back. Unless, of course, I’m high as hell on crack. Avoid this dump at all costs! You will get a better meal if you take a plaster spatula to the Greyhound bus station and scrape used gum off the floor.

I love their food, don’t get me wrong. That’s why I keep coming back. BUT they have the worst service! They always get my order wrong and never give any honey or hot sauce that’s supposed to come with the meal. Every time I go this is what I go through: I ask at the window if they put honey in the bag, and they say yes. I open my bag and there’s literally one pack of honey for 6 pieces of chicken and 3 biscuits. Are they retarded? I asked for more, she puts ONE more in the bag. Seriously? Their mistakes also cost then money, on a few occasions they have given me extra meals that I didn’t order or pay for. I guess they deserve it.

Popeye’s has the BEST biscuits ever! The chicken is pretty good, especially the spicy blend. There’s a variety of sides, though I like to ask for them on a plate because their containers seem to leak that styrophone-like taste into your food(mainly the mac&cheese). The restaurant is located in a not-so-nice area of town though. I usually like to get in and get out quick! I’ve had decent service here. Not really worse or better than any other fast-food chain around town.

I have always appreciated the menu for this flavour of southern cooking, but this particular restaurant has failed to properly package my order twice in my most recent visits. Despite the number of employees onsite their delivering times are slow and not accurate. This staff seems to be poorly organized and doesn’t pay attention to detail.
