Lansing Bakery

Lansing Bakery is a great place to come when you’re in the mood for something sweet. I stop in here relatively often, since it’s close by to my house and they open really early. I don’t always get to sleep before dawn, so it’s nice that this place opens at like 6am.
I’ve yet to have anything bad from here. Their sugar cookies are always delicious, so are their conchas. We got my mom’s birthday cake from here and she love it. It was moist and was pretty, without having too much frosting. We get her sugar free cookies from here as well, and you wouldn’t be able to tell that they were sugar free, they’re that good.
My personal favorites are the danishes. Whether cheese or chocolate chip, they’re amazing and they’re pretty big. Plus I think they only cost a little more than a dollar, how can you go wrong?
They also sell savory breads and rolls, as well as coffees. Their donuts are good too.
The workers are always really helpful and attentive, and will happily answer any question you have.
This little overlooked bakery is great as a before-​work stop, or as just a way to treat yourself during the day.
