I was terrified of shopping here because of all of the bad reviews, but I decided to stop in anyway. I looked at the sofas here and at Furniture Row across the street. Surprisingly, I had the best service at Art Van. The sales lady came up to me quickly, showed me the furniture I might be interested in, and answered all of my questions. As a bigger store they had more options. There was absolutely no pressure even when I said I was going to Furniture Row next. Furniture Row sales staff seemed more interested in sitting together talking than helping me, and the furniture didn’t impress me. I bought my sofa from Art Van. It had a better warranty, better quality, and all at a cheaper price. The sofa was delivered on time with no problems. I’m pleasantly surprised by my excellent experience at Art Van, and I wouldn’t hesitate recommending that you give them a try despite all of the other negative reviews.

I’m all about customer service but boy is it annoying when you get followed around the store by several sales associates. The one sales associate made me so uncomfortable I had to leave, asking me where I lived, how long my BF and I have been dating for, how we met etc. Art van, do yourself a favor and stop paying your workers commission and start paying them hourly. You will gain more customers by doing so.

We bought a bedroom set and was very excited to get it delivered. However, when it got delivered, we realized that the salesperson failed to tell us that we needed a bunky board rather than a box spring, and the bed was 5 feet tall with the platform!(Keeping in mind I bought all the pieces of furniture from the same company). The bed was as tall as me! I called the company while the delivery guys were still here, but the salesperson said she would call me back and never did. I finally got ahold of the manager the next day, who was going to charge me another $ 100 for the exchange and delivery. I later found out that the bunky board was simply a piece of plywood that you can easily buy for much cheaper, and that this situation happened to people all the time; especially to elderly people. Additionally, the salesperson assured me that I was getting the best sale and had 30 days to get money back if there was a better sale within 30 days. Well, I called 2 weeks later when the furniture was now 20% off, and the manager refused to honor the deal and to refund the difference. I like my furniture, but don’t think that I would make any more purchases with this company in the future.

Just purchased a entertainment center from Art Van and my experience was decent. Didn’t like the idea of $ 100 delivery fee to deliver around the corner with a piece of furniture I still had to put together myself. Didn’t make much sense there so I just picked it up and the warehouse guys were cool. Sales staff wasn’t good for much to be honest with you but the girls in the office helped with 98% of what I needed.

im actually on the fence here as I would go 2.5 if possible… was in the clearance center, found an awesome dining room table for 160.00 that was originally like 800.00, simply beautiful… also got 4 chairs that looked nice and solid, not so much; 360.00 for 4 chairs, 2 fell apart within 2 months, other two had to gorilla glue together to keep em standing… not good

We walked into Art Van as skeptics, but our preconceptions were totally unfounded. Our sales experience from beginning to end couldn’t have been better and THAT’S why we picked our sectional from Art Van. Danny(last name May, I’m pretty sure) and Sierra were a pleasure to work with. They had a completely non-pushy yet totally dedicated approach. Their timing was perfect — literally every time we had a question or wanted help, they appeared and LISTENED to our wants and dislikes and guided us like they really cared. They were upbeat and personable and miles ahead of the salespeople we met at other furniture stores in the area. We couldn’t be happier with how we were treated. We also love our new sectional! Art Van had a ton of options to choose from and it took us a second visit to nail down which one we wanted most. Pretty much everything can be customized from fabric to power options as well, which worked in our favor. They offer great long warranties, too, which was important to us since we have a dog. We were able to find a sectional with a chaise, center console, and power reclining seats which was so hard to find any where else. We got exactly what we wanted. I would highly recommend Art Van to any one on any budget from now on — and ask for Danny and Sierra!

You might find a nice piece of art for cheap or a mirror but the furniture isn’t so great. We bought a living room set only to later find out the seat cushions are not moveable(i’ve never seen that before!) For the price we paid, this couldve been useful info. Do you know how hard it is to wash couch cushions that do not zip off or come off the couch structure? However, we purchased a great bunk bed and coffee tables. Maybe the smaller stuff are better purchases. They were a great deal. And feel free to purchase disaply items, theyre not that bad. Service is great too. Mixed emotions!

We purchased a Simmons Comfor-Pedic Mattress from Art Van. The king mattress was around $ 2000. In less than 2 years, the mattress is broken down and un-sleepable. We contacted the AV warranty department and they measured the drop. They said the compression was ¾″ and warranty replacement required 1 ½″. A couple weeks later, I went to the store to get warranty information from the sales dept. They told me ¾″. I questioned it and they contacted the Simmons rep while I was on the phone who confirmed it was ¾″. We went back to the service department. They pulled the report, and said yes it did have a ¾″ drop but because they noted a small stain on the pad, the warranty was void. They sent a second tech who measured again, this time they measured the drop at ½″. No spot, but not enough for a warranty replacement. They have made it clear their job is too do everything, but fix the problem. The mattress is worthless and service is less even that. Our next step is a lawyer. Too bad the review system here requires at least one star.

We went here to try to buy a mattress. We were immediately told we needed to talk to a salesperson, had a sleep analysis with some fancy computers, tried a bunch of beds, and were told our sales guys nice, long, complicated family story. Who needs that? In the end, we were going to walk out without buying, so a second, bigger, pushier man came over and told us that«people don’t leave without buying without talking to him.» Oh well, we did. I hate that kind of pressure.
