I live about a mile from Paul Revere and have driven past the place hundreds of times. After reading some positive reviews about their cheese steaks and pizzas, I figured I’d finally give it a try. I entered my order using their on-line service about 30 minutes before pick-up time. I was phoned shortly after entering my order because they wanted to make sure that I was picking up my order and not having it delivered. When I arrived at the restaurant, spot on time, I was asked to wait a couple of minutes because my pizza wasn’t available. It turns out that my pizza was accidentally given to another customer who had ordered a quesadilla. I was given the option of taking a larger sized plain cheese pizza, or wait for the pizza I ordered to be prepared. I chose to wait the couple of minutes to have my original pizza order prepared. A «couple of minutes» turned into about 10 minutes of watching people coming in and going out with their orders ready to go. After about 5 minutes of waiting, I told the staff that this was the first and last time I would visit this place. I understand that accidents happen, and that a quesadilla in a box looks like a pizza in a box. Yada yada. If something will take 10 minutes, please tell me it will take 10 minutes, not a couple of minutes. Ultimately, the restaurant gave me a coupon for a free small cheese pizza, which I will never use, and my pizza was finally delivered. As to the food, the cheese steak was actually pretty good. As for the pizza, it wasn’t bad, and you may like it if you like thicker crust pizza. I prefer thin crust, so, this place will obviously not be my go-to place for cheese steaks or pizza. Again, I understand that trip-ups happen in kitchens, but on my first time? It will be my last time.

Food wise I have never had a bad experience, everything I have ever eaten from here is good. Extra large pizzas are great to feed a larger crowd. Love all their pizza and sandwiches. The only problems I have had in past are with the delivery, sometimes takes a little longer than expected, and their delivery drivers aren’t the friendliest. Also, when you order delivery, make sure you specify paying with your credit card multiple times, because a few times I ordered and said I wanted to pay with card, and the delivery driver showed up without the card machine and looked at me like it was my problem . These are the only problems I have had multiple times in the past, but I continue to order from them because their food is delicious.

We got the Hawaiian pizza and it was really amazing! The crust was crispy and not soggy! The ham was crispy but not too crispy and the whole pizza was just good compared to others I’ve had with pizza chains and other family owned pizzeria!

I wanted to like them because they’re so close and my friends had such positive things to say, but I just wasn’t impressed at all. I’ve tried numerous things from them and found it to be edible(nothing amazing) and just overpriced. Below are some of my gripes: 1. Small pizzas are delivered on a plate. Not a box. A legit plate. Yet manage to cost more that small pizzas at surrounding competitors. 2. They refuse to deviate from the menu. I wanted a tuna grinder one time and they refused because it wasn’t on you. Even though the register is within a mere feet from the cook and they could have just turned around and told him what I wanted. But they wouldn’t do it because it wasn’t in the actual computer. Even though they were capable of making it and have all of the ingredients. 3. Lettuce does not come with sandwiches. You have to pay extra for it, like $ 0.50. Which I thought was absolutely ridiculous. So I’m not a fan. But I wouldn’t discourage others from trying it out.

Hit or miss with this place. We order pretty much the same food each time and they get it wrong at least once a month. When someone orders«wings» they mean buffalo wings not plain chicken wings. The cheese steaks are good and so are the stromboli. I like the medium pizzas but the large doesn’t taste the same.

The service here is extremely friendly and the food is fantastic. The roast pork is exceptional, cheese fries are great, and the wings are some of my favorite around.

I love the upside down pizza with pepperoni, well done. The sharp provolone really makes it great. The sauce is tasty stuff as well.

I’m rating this place based on their pizza alone, not on their qualities as a restaurant. I gotta tell ya, the BEST pizza I ever had in my life. You can look at me and tell I’ve had more than my share of pizza, but this place is unbelievable. Perfect proportions of cheese to sauce and crust. If I lived near there, I’d be there everyday. What did I have? Small pizza with anchovy. As I said, just wonderful. Staff is pleasant, service efficient. Keep on rockin’! BTW, the person who told me to go told me to get the small pizza, the large ones, she said, tasted completely different.

Like many pizza and other food places, you’re looking at hit or miss food. Any place that has pizza in its name always has terrible pizza but good everything else. This is no exception. The pizza is painfully greasy and cheesy but if you like that, then at least you know what you’re getting. Their pizza fries and meatball sandwiches can’t be missed and they’ve never given me a bad cheese steak or grinder. Their salads are huge and fresh, as are their wraps. Avoid the pizza and go for the gusto!

We love ordering from this place. We never have any problems. We have been ordering from here for years. You can even order from the online website which is very convenient.

This place is fantastic. It’s been around since I was a little kid, so it’s old. I took my friend from out of town to this place to experience what I consider a real Philly cheesesteak to be. Don’t bother going downtown to Pats/Genos. A proper cheesesteak is an Amoroso roll, the right kind of meat, cheez whiz, provolone or American. Shouldn’t be hard to mess up, but a lot of people do. This place is always perfect, though. I should know because I have consumed so many of these cheesesteaks. The pizza is good too. We’ve also been very happy with other menu items such as salads and wraps for those times that we have to go on a diet because we eat too many cheesesteaks. Delivery is great, always fast. If you need to eat in, they have that too, a pleasant seating area with a big TV usually playing the Eagles or the Phillies.

I’ve only eaten pizza from here and usually with friends who like this style of pie. Not my taste at all. The dough doesn’t have that chew to it and the pizza with cheese only is very greasy and a bit rubbery. It’s a love or hate relationship here and for me it’s the latter. I rate them three stars for consistency and the loyal following. I’m just not one of them.

Nice location to sit down and eat with a couple of friends. There’s a dining location that is nice and cozy or you can walk to the counter to order if you want to take your food to go! They have delivery that is not bad. Good food. Get many of their other options and try out something new and different.(I am not a big fan of their pizza) My favorite thing to get though I think is special to Paul Revere. Do you love tuna? Get their tuna melt! It ain’t no little thing between two pieces of toasted bread. It’s tuna, sitting atop pita bread with cheese and tomato. You get a lot with this and will enjoy it! I think people will like it.

Their pizza is the best I’ve had since moving out here three years ago. The the cheese pizza was good but the vegetarian pizza was the best I’ve had in a while. Delivery was pretty decent as well.

Update: The service has improved of late, it looks like they started hired experienced professionals instead of angsty teenage girls(I usually get the same woman, she never fails to be outstanding). I have updated the review accordingly. Average, easily replicated food, great service. The menu will not amaze, but it will definitely scratch the itch. I think the pizza(or pizza-based) products are the strong point — everything else ranges from«edible» to «solid».

Why offer an online option if it doesn’t work? Order from somewhere else for delivery, theres tons of options

This is your typical Drexel Hill style grease pizza. I have no idea why people like this. Their cheesesteaks also taste like they use horsemeat.

Drexel Hill and it’s surrounding areas offer loads of pizza places. I would suggest going to this one last. The pizza is nothing to write home about. It is more grease than anything. I decided to switch it up and order wings and cheese fries last weekend, and I was severely disappointed. I asked for both my wings and cheese fries to be cooked well done. They were both super soggy. The wings had a different spice than normal hot wings, but I’ll stick to an original recipe please. My cheese fries look like they had a box of velvetta melted on them. Very bland. Needless to say, I’ll be trying any other pizza place but this one next time.

I have lived in the area for 7 years and just found this place. Ordered a Greek pizza, and two salads. Delivery was fast and my order was perfect. Keeping this place at the top of my list.

Got treated to this place the other week. I had a small pizza, light on the cheese per the reviews listed here. The crust was crispy and the pizza tasted OK. But I dont see myself going back and spending my own money here. By the way, even though I asked for light cheese on my pizza it was still greasy. But in all honesty I wouldnt expect anything else from a Greek pizzeria.
