The history of THE STORE spans over 50 years, beginning in 1952, when Irv Lopoten started one of the first variety stores in the Towamencin area, offering a wide variety of products on the corner of Allentown and Forty Food Roads. THE STORE is a bit of a local legend, being that there are area residents who have shopped there most of their lives. Even though so much has changed, THE STORE has refined its product selection, and the land has since been developled, THE STORE still remains on the plot it originally stood on and is still owned by the Lopoten family.
