Rose Nails

I come to this place every once in awhile since it’s close to where I live. It really is just okay. They always seem to rush while doing your nails. Today was no exception and it wasn’t even that busy. I’ve only had 2 techs do a good job on my nails. Tim was one and the other is the First Lady when you walk in to your left. The others are mediocre at best. The tech today did a sloppy job and even though I politely asked her not to cut my cuticles she did so anyway. The. She sloppily painted my nails. And cut them and shaped them differently. I have 4 square nails and 1 oval shaped on one hand. And 2 round and 3 square on the other. Needless to say I need to find another local spot.

I’ve been coming here since I was in high school and I’m really satisfied with my nail technician Tasha. She is one of the best workers at the nail salon, I highly recommend her for any nail and eyebrow services.

I just had a nice, quick, thorough pedicure here. No complaints at all about the service or price. I did want to note, though, that I had not heard of any of the polish brands — there were just a few OPI’s (all in red) and no Essie, as I am used to seeing in other salons. The salon also could have been more clean — there was a big toenail sitting on the ground next to me as my nails dried. All of that said — the pedicure itself was nice!

I have been coming here off and on for about 7 years. Im always satisfied with the way my nails turn out. I went in for a gel polish change and one nail repair and was done in about 15 – 20 minutes!

This salon has been declining since I posted my tip a few months ago. I no longer patronize Anna (nail tech) after she messed up my nails in late December and tried to charge me $ 15 to redo the gel polish when I came back to have them fixed a few days later.
I had a light pink gel polish on my nails (not the first time) and about a day later I started seeing dirty bubbles forming inside of the gel (making the nail color appear spotted). It was told to me by another nail tech that she improperly cured the gel, used another brand’s top coat (which may have not meshed well with the brand she was using), or may have diluted either of the gel polishes (they do this to get more bang for their buck). Either way when I returned to have her fix them, she made it seem like it was MY fault and that I needed to pay to have them fixed. I told her to remove the polish and that I would go elsewhere and that it was also a shame for her to lose a customer over $ 15 (when I’ve tipped her more than $ 150 since June of last year and have given her more than $ 700 in earnings — eyebrows, toes and nails since then as well).
I have been going to Anna since June 2015 and it is sad to say that I may have to find another nail salon home.
I’ve patronized the manager a few times since then (who also moonlights as a nail tech). She’s the half black/​half Vietnamese woman who sits at the front. My issue with her is that she rushes and does a sloppy job on my nails (leaving gel on the sides of my nails and cuticles, not polishing the entire nail, nails not looking shiny after application, and just has an overall forced nature [grabbing and jerking my hands all around in whatever position that suits her]).
Today may have been that last straw that broke the camel’s back. Their prices are the only thing that draws me back to them from time to time, but I will be testing out new salons in the area to patronize.

This time I made an appointment with Tasha and got a brand new full gel tips set. I got there at my scheduled time and she started right away, I wanted something glittery for the holidays and picked #46 see my pic, she did a very througho job and I took a risk on having my nails longer and have them in almond shape. For some reason, square cut doesn’t look good on my hands. It’s been almost a week and my nails still look fresh. Next time I’ll schedule a pedi.

I tried this spot out because of the reviews. I went to Anna. She did a great job. I just got a simple mani/​pedi. I will definitely return.

I have nothing bad to say about this shop. I moved to this area a year & some months ago but had still been going back to my old neighborhood to get my nails done because I am loyal. But after a terrible night of service there with the manager I was done. I had been going to that shop over 10 years & they treated me like a stranger. I was done & decided to find a place closer to my new place. I came in & saw Tasha & scheduled for the next day all I did was tell her my name. After she did a fantastic job on my nails, she said «Okay see you next time Odie». I have never had a nail tech ask or even remember my name, even the place I was going to for so long. I watched how they treated their customers & all of them were nice, gentle, & helpful. There is never a lot of chatter amongst the nail techs that may make you feel as if they are talking bad about you which I appreciate. I’ve been coming here every 2 weeks for about 3 months & I am so happy.

The first time I visited this nail salon I did have a pleasant experience. However, my second encounter with Rose Nails on 8÷31÷2015 was the opposite of that.
I requested a pedicure and the technician seemed knowledgable and friendly enough… at first. That quickly changed when half way into the pedicure she began digging and scraping down in my nail cuticle. Of course this hurt and I pulled my foot away and said ouch, to which she replied, «It’s ok, I almost got it.» I guess she was referring to an ingrown toenail. Again she went to that area of my foot and then pulled something out roughly. Anytime during the pedicure when I mentioned to her that I didn’t like something she responded with a variation of,“I know what I am doing.” I was left in pain which increased over the course of a several days.
Fast forward a week later (Labor Day), I could barely walk on my foot and the toe was inflamed and oozing. Infection. I spent four hours in the ER. I am now in an orthopedic shoe, on two separate antibiotics and a prescription pain medication.
Today, I went back to the nail salon and spoke with the manager and I took my hospital paperwork with me. Initially, she tried to tell me that infections «just happen sometimes» and have even happened to her. Uhh… Eventually she did contact the owner and they reimbursed my ER costs in addition to the cost of that awful pedicure.
Positively, I will say that I do appreciate the shop’s response. These days people are so quick to go on the defensive when they feel accused and those who feel they have been wronged are so quick to want to sue establishments. I just wanted them to do their due diligence and show integrity and they did. However, I will not be returning.

I’ve been coming to this salon for 10 plus years. Only the owner does my nails. She’s been my nail technician since before she opened her own shop. English is The second language but they work hard to provide good customer Service. Prices are comparable And you get a discount if you pay with cash.

I decided to get a mani, pedi and eyebrow wax two and a half hours before a flight, expecting service to go by go quickly. (Pushing it, I know lol).
My mom, who with me because she was dropping my boyfriend and I off at the airport, mulled around for five minutes before deciding to treat herself to the same services.
Service did not actually go by as super quick as I anticipated, but I didn’t really mind because I experienced one of the best pedicures I’ve had in a long while… it was not the rushed job I’m used to, and it had my feet feeling baby smooth!
My mani was just as perfect… I appreciated that they did not rush through my services just to get me out of there to fill another chair! After completing my toes and nails, the nail tech did my eyebrows from my seat to complete the job.
My mom was five minutes behind me and it was getting late, and we still had to pick up my boyfriend, so I asked her to forget the eyebrow wax since I had a flight to catch. It was at that moment that the staff really went out of their way to accommodate us — they had two people working to finish up my mom at the same time; and had her out three minutes later!
I was so impressed with the level of service I received, and I will definitely be back! I can’t wait to incorporate Rose Nails into my biweekly routine.

Nice quick service. I got what I needed for prom done. This is the only nail salon I know what will do a full set and pedicure for $ 20 each. I didn’t mind that at all. My nails came out just the same way as they did if I would have spent $ 60 at other salons versus this where I spent $ 40 plus tip!

I am so pleased with my nails, I think I found my nail tech ANNA is very good and detailed, i had a design in mind and she executed beautifully, will be going back;)

Always have great service, I’m always well attended and some are up for a challenge when it comes to nail designs. They are fast and proficient, they are very careful with your hands or whatever part of you they are working with. My eyebrows are always looking great and fabulous too. They are trying to get customers to pay with cash versus a credit card, probably merging to a cash only policy… if you’re only getting your eyebrows done, you must pay in cash only.

I’ve been to this nail salon twice and both times I was seated right away and my nails have come our awesome. I am very happy with my experiences especially since I’ve been looking for a new nail shop for about six months. I’m not sure but I think making appointments might be the way to go in this particular shop. I didn’t make appointments either time but it seems that each time the nail tech finished right as their appointment walked in. Either way, I didn’t feel like my tech rushed to finish me up because they had an appointment coming in. I will definitely be returning every other week for my fill. Also, this definitely the place to come if you are looking for a variety of mood polishes.

I went to this salon on a Sunday afternoon. It was crowded but I was immediately seated when I walked in. Unfortunately I didn’t get the nail techs name but her booth is the last one on the right hand side. I got a full set, gel, mood polish, active length. She moved pretty fast, it took her about an hour. My overall impression of this place wasn’t very good. My nail tech rushed through my nails and while I appreciate not having to sit there for so long I also want you to take the time to make sure you are doing my nails correctly. Several times I had to point out to her that she didn’t put enough glue on the tip of my nail so it was popping off before she even put the gel on. Rushing while putting the gel on, which caused for an uneven layer of gel that I had to get her to fix. AGAIN I had to point that out. And she tore my right ring finger up with that drill! OMG!!! I had to tell her numerous times to watch what she was doing but she just wasn’t getting it for some reason. Needless to say it burned like hell when she had to pour alcohol on my nails UGH! After she finally looked at my finger and saw that she had clearly broken skin she offered to do my eyebrows and I gladly turned that down thinking you gotta be kidding me!?! You tore my finger up and you want me to trust you with my face? LOL NAH I THINK NOT! Also, my nails are a little too thick for my preference. Again, her with all that rushing crap caused her to totally look over quite a few important factors to my nails. No reason I should want to grab the drill and thin out my nails myself! LOL Geesshhh!
While this salon is close to where I live and very reasonably price — I don’t think this is the salon for me and I will not be going back here because there are entirely too many different salons in the area to choose from. The final look of my nails is just ok. End of the day I just think this isn’t the salon for me. Good luck!

I had a great first experience here. I walked in for a gel manicure and pedicure and was seated in the pedicure chair immediately. The nail tech, Kelly, was quiet but friendly. The pedicure was excellent! The chair was comfortable, the massage was good, and she did a great job on my toe polish– it was perfect. I wanted something fairly close to the green sparkly gel color I picked for my nails and she found a green that was very pretty and close. The gel manicure was great, too. Kelly shaped my nails just the way I asked her and was very patient with any of my requests. The gel polish turned out great! I have had problems with techs getting polish on my skin, polish looking bubbly and uneven, etc. at other nail salons. Not this one. The salon was clean and everyone was very professional. I am beyond satisfied with Kelly, and this salon, and will become a regular here.

Clean, organized & very PROFESSIONAL! No wait, very friendly and reasonable prices– NO RUSH JOBS! Ask for Tasha– she goes by APPTS, on time & excellent technician– Love her!

Clean, professional, and fast nail salon. I think each nail technician in this salon is great. Iv never had an issue and they have many gel polishes including the mood changing colors. Great place I will be sure to come back.
