Danny’s Sub Shop

Their food was decent. Typical Chinese-​American fusion with standard fare of hot/​cold subs, wings, and Western Chinese food.
I had the small steak and cheese hot sub with a small fry for just under $ 8 (there’s a convenience fee for credit card transactions under $ 10 of $ 0.50).
The service is remarkably poor. I don’t believe «hello,» «please,» «thank-​you,» or «goodbye» are part of their vocabulary. At first, I thought maybe she just didn’t like me, but, no… pretty much everyone got the same treatment.
I sat in the restaurant and ate my meal. The front of house/​dining area was fairly clean with nothing out of the ordinary. The napkins included with the meal might’ve been THE cheapest I’ve ever used, but whatever.
Then… there’s the bathroom. The bathroom reminds me of what a bathroom in college house is like… in that it is poorly maintained and generally gross. I’m pretty sure that toilet seat hasn’t been wiped in a while (you’ve been warned!). I’ve submitted a photo.
It’s just a little off-​putting that their bathroom is so poorly maintained; usually, how well they keep the lavatories indicate the cleanliness of their kitchen…
Bottom line: if you’re looking for decent standard take-​out, you’ve found it. Don’t look for anything else and you’ll be fine. Keep your expectations at a minimum.

Food is great! I absolutely love the crispy fried chicken wings, the texture is so nice.
Chicken and Broccoli, I am a fan of this also I would give it a ⁹⁄₁₀. Decent place overall.

Great place. Been coming here as long as I can remember. Steak and cheese sub is one of, if not the best around. The chicken wings are equally good as is the lo mein.

I ate there yesterday evening for a quick bite to eat. Ordered a sandwich and have not left the bathroom since. I had to leave work early today to come home and rest because my stomach was so sick from the food they made me. Worst first experience I’ve ever had, will not be going back.

Typical Asian establishment in Prince Georges County that hates and fears the African American but willing to make money off of them. The last time I went here I was screwed out of 5 dollars that’s why these places should offer receipts to prove the amount of money you gave them. I will never return here, I don’t care under new management or not. At the end they all end up the same, dirty, rude and racist.

I ordered steamed dumplings and hot & sour soup 2 days ago. The hot & sour soup was fairly decent for American fare. it wasn’t authentic Chinese but overall it was decent. The chips that came with the soup were nice. They were apparently fresh and homemade. but I had to give less stars because of the dumplings. the meat wasn’t very good. it tasted like meatloaf. the dough wasn’t very good. I have had better. I would have been ok with the meat and dough but the sauce was about the worse sauce I’ve ever experienced. first off the sauce was very watery. secondly the sauce tasted like diet coke. It didn’t have the flavor I was expecting at all. I was expecting the traditional sauce and unknowingly poured it on top of all my dumplings. as I was pouring it, I noticed it seemed watery. when I tasted it, it basically ruined the whole experience. Because of that I doubt I will find myself at Danny’s any time in the near future. If I do ever go back and order the dumplings, I will not use their sauce. Its awful.

Since Danny’s Sub Shop has been under new management, a lot of improvements have been made. The place is clean and tidy, the staff is nice and courteous, and the food is great! Despite there being two other Danny’s Sub Shops on the same road, it’s quite easy to find. (Right across from the shopping center). They also have a TV for when big sports games are on! I definitely plan on stopping in whenever I’m in the area.

If you enjoy eating at a place where the food taste like dog feces, then look no further. If you are in search of furniture, toys, batteries, clocks, lighters, medicine, purses and hats, This place is for you! Yes!!! they sell all of the above!!! The place is dirty! There is mold everywhere and the tables and trays are sticky. The front of the store said «worlds greatest hamburgers» so my friend and I said ok, we’ll try it. I’m not exaggerating, I almost threw up from it. Im pretty sure it was the worst hamburger I’ve EVER had. Avoid this place at all costs or you’ll be sorry.
