History

Established in 2002.

I established my computer repair business on Whidbey Island in the fall of 2002 and it has grown ever since that time, mostly due to word-​of-​mouth and having an excellent reputation within our community.

I made my first web site in 1997 and have stayed abreast of web technologies ever since that time. My web sites are well-​designed, simple to navigate, and written in such a way that they maintain longevity. I do not rely on programs (such as Dreamweaver or GoLive) to completely create web pages preferring to begin in Dreamweaver and end with hand-​coding.

My experience with computer repair began in 1984 when I broke my first computer and had to repair it myself. I have been curious about how things work since I was a child.

That curiosity also led me to the Internet in its infancy where I played text-​based games with others and communicated through bulletin board services (or BBSs). When the world wide web was birthed with a graphical interface the fun began with designing web sites.

I also studied graphic design at the School of Visual Concepts in Seattle at a pivotal time in the industry when the use of computers in design was just beginning to be established. It was then that I began to teach as well.
