We went there with my wife this afternoon. There was no sign visible from the street to point to its location. Turns out, it us at the back of the building. But the worst thing about this bakery is they sell BURNT bakery items. Yes, some of the bread they sell is burnt black. I bought a muffin — did not notice that part of the top is also burnt black. WHY would you sell burnt food? WHY?

First time stopping in and will be back. If you are staying in Langely it is a little walk from the main town but well worth it for some fresh baked bread. The moment you walk in you can smell the wood fired stove. Breads are made with local grains. I tried cheddar garlic, the cherry chocolate bread and the beignet — all delicious

Fantastic bakery! I think the best on Whidbey Island. The Swedish rye bread and the chocolate zucchini bread are especially good.

Just found this little gem by luck during our last trip to Whidbey. Not much to look at and next to a laundromat, but they just might have the best bread we’ve ever tasted. We had oat bread, deliciously moist and full of flavor, and chocolate zucchini bread which was unbelievable. So good we went back on our way out of town to take some back to California with us but they were unfortunately closed on Mondays. I just keep thinking about that bready goodness.
