We specialize in used, rare and out-​of-​print books in the areas of literary fiction, poetry, Paris int he 20s, art & photography, Northwest History, signed astronaut material and the works of Charles Bukowski.

History

Established in 1987.

We were located in West Seattle for 17 years before moving our open shop to Langley, Washington on Whidbey Island. Our customers visit us from all over the country and, for those hwo can’t visit us personally, we offer our inventory to the world via our secure website.

David G.

Business Owner

David Gregor began selling books in 1985 with a dozen special clients and two years later opened Gregor Rare Books as an open shop. David graduated from the jounalism school at the University of Washington and studied creative writing at the UCLA Writers Program. He has written two books of memoir and a book of poetry; he is also the author of numerous published articles on collectible authors. David was a freelance book reviewer for eight years at the Seattle Times. Since 1991, he has delivered seminars across the U.S. on Book Collecting and Bookselling. He has been a member of the Antiquarian Booksellers’ Association of America and the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers.
