If I could give this no stars I would. We drove an hour to get here and were waiting at the front of the restaurant for someone to help us for 15 min and no one came to seat us. When someone FINALLLLY came we were told the bar is open for drinks but the kitchen closes at 11. And it was literally 11pm at that moment. The place is open till midnight so they should have it online that they don’t serve food after 11p. But seriously. It’s a Saturday night in the beginning of the summer. So rude we will NEVER return. This would have been our first time trying this place and they left a horrible first impression.

Bustling Mexican joint that was teeming with families from the nearby ‘Sesame Place’ theme park. On a hot day, the fish taco combo and shrimp quesadillas went nicely with a range of Margaritas that included ginger, pear and elderflower varieties. This is the kind of place where you know what you’re getting as soon as you walk in. Very solid.

The food was delicious and the drinks were great. I will definitely be back. We tried the blood orange Margarita and it was one of the best we’ve had. Corinna is awesome and very attentive as well.

The meal began well enough, I had the guacamole with a side of roasted corn. The item very very tasty and satisfying. I ordered Juan’s Burrito as my main course. The wait for the meal was quick enough, however the burrito and side of rice were barely luke warm. I returned the meal and was promptly visited by the manager. He explained the it was a «cold» item and he would be happy to warm it for me. Perhaps it is just me, but I have never had a «cold» carnitas Burrito anywhere. If you want good guacamole them this is the place for you. Otherwise I would suggest passing this restaurant. Cancun is less than a mile away and I have never been disappointed in their authentic Mexican dishes.

The margaritas are absolutely amazing at Tio Juan’s Margaritas. The melon margarita is good for flavored margarita. Just plain old margarita is good too. I found the strawberry basil a little to sweet, but if sweet drinks are your thing then definitely order one. The food is not authentic Mexica but for a chain I thought the food was decent. The service was good, nice and attentive. This place is great for groups, just to get together or to celebrate birthdays. I am super excited there is one opening up by me soon!

Remember when you received chips and salsa as soon as being seated in a Mexican restaurant? This was not the case for our Saturday lunch. I miss chips being warm and homemade too. Fresh salsa would be nice too! I can pour it out of a jar at home. There is music playing but there is also a disturbing deep loud rumbling sound that bothered me. I think it’s their ventilation system. Imagine dining next to a 747. The bartender could have been 100% nicer when I inquired. «I don’t hear anything» was his response and that’s it. Our lunches were reheated and dried out. Crusty beans! Good thing the margarita had booze so I didn’t care as much. Service was amateurish but inoffensive. 2 stars for having a good location, clean bathrooms and, other than being noisy, a decent building. Get some Mexicans in the kitchen!

Ok ok full disclosure I’m from LA so my standards are pretty high. That being said… Mexican food in LA made by a blind man with no taste buds is still ten times better. The chips and salsa were offensive it was doused with cumin which gave a grocery store bought El Paso mix flavor. I did love the Mayan shrimp appetizer even though it only came with a few kernels of corn. Long story short most food needed major seasoning improvement, thank goodness for the lime and salt on my margarita. While other things aka the Salsa were so overly seasoned it was hard to swallow. Atmosphere, customer service and décor was exceptional. Basically come here for drinks and chips bring your own salsa«Pace» from your local market will do, or you can go all out and overnight a basic salsa from any ranch market on the west coast.

Not including drinks, we ordered 6 things: an order of guacamole, three kids meals, fish tacos and enchiladas. Five of the six items came out incorrect, including all of the kids meals. The guacamole was forgotten entirely, until the server asked about it as the meals were delivered. By that point, it was too late for a group of hungry kids. Aside from the ineptitude, the server was very pleasant. The food is mediocre chain Mexican. Better off at Burritos in Yardley or any Chipotle in America.

I’ve been here over 10 times and it was great everytime. I’m not sure why there are so many low reviews! I’m a huge mexican fan and I love it here. Yes, it’s a chain so it’s not your tiny local authentic mexican place but you shouldn’t expect it to be. Both the dining room and bar area are nice. Drinks are good, chips and salsa are good, food is good. Good bar service from Roland. I’ll continue coming back… ignore the bad reviews!

The food was ok. The beans was a bit watered down and I had both to sample. I was not at all impressed. However the chicken chimichanga was delicious. I asked for the guacamole on the side yet when my food came it was right in the middle. When I said something to the staff he never offered to take it back and bring me another one. Instead I scrapped it off and was offered a free desert. And the Reese pie made up for the mistake lucky I do not have any allergies. Also when my water came out my cup was noticeably dirty the waiter did take it back and bring me a clean one. The margaritas were great here and so was the salsa and chips. The atmosphere was great and so was the décor. It wasn’t the best experience however I would give them a second try maybe it wasn’t a good day.

Just not good and pricey for what it is. The low rating is hard earned. Had I seen it before going, I wouldn’t have bothered. Upon leaving and seeing the Taco Bell across the street, my first thought was that would’ve tasted a lot better. So yeah, first and last visit. Done and done. Please don’t waste your own time, taste buds, and money.

ZEROCLUE as to why this place has 2 stars as a total of all reviews??? Also not sure as to why people are having bad experiences when I’ve been multiple times and everything was excellent. Just so everyone knows. I am PICKY. I don’t mean picky as in I don’t eat anything– it’s the simple fact that I actually eat anything AND everything. From snails to Indian food– so that’s why I always expect really really good tasting food when I go places because I know what good food is. That being said– this place has been nothing but consistent and really really good. I’m not sure what people are ordering but everything I’ve had has been good. I really like their fried spicy shrimp appetizer. Also their chips and salsa are always good. I usually get the fish tacos, the ones with the purple cabbage. They are soooo good. I do get them on flour instead of corn which a server was kind enough to recommend once. I’ve also had their drinks and dessert. I get the Rosarito. It’s a creamy sweet and tangy margarita that is out of this world. I love their churro dessert. The prices are reasonable and it’s VERY consistent. I haven’t ever had anything that was really greasy. For someone coming here expecting authentic Mexican– well then I could see the disappointment but this place doesn’t seem to be known for«authentic» food. It’s MUCH better than on the border or any other place like it. Give it a shot for sure!

Second time we’ve been here. First time was decent, but tonight not the case. Food was over cooked, service was slow, and overall doubt I’ll be back. Front end staff was not very hospitable and the hostess with the blue hair couldn’t be bothered. Disappointed!

Wife and I ate here on a Friday night heard they had good happy hour deals. They do have really good happy hour deals, but only if you eat in the lounge. no one told use this until after we had been seated and was halfway into ordering our food. With that said at 6:30 on a Friday night we were seated right away. Our waiter was prompt and quick with refilling my water with out being asked. My wife got an Blood Orange Margarita for $ 8.99 I got a draft beer for $ 5 We shared a deluxe nachos this was a large plated of there free chips with melted cheese a little bit of unidentifiable stuff and two golf ball sized servings of guacamole and sour cream $ 9.99 The drinks and nachos came out quickly however before we could finish our nachos our entrée came. For our entrée we both got the burrito supreme in the end this was just a glorified Taco Bell burrito and there is nothing wrong with that but at 12.50 each we end up running up a 52 dollar bill before tip. So to summit up Service was amazing, the food acceptable, but the price is a little to high. Next time I will try the lounge or another place altogether.

Went here yesterday with another couple. Partook of the happy hour offerings and a few beers and margarita’s. Upon arriving we were able to sit in a booth across from the bar which was packed, it was about 6:15p Friday. The server arrived and promptly brought our first round of drinks. The ladies had margarita’s which were uniformly praised. The guys had a couple of draft beers. We ordered some food which also came timely. Soon after we ordered another round of food and drink. Unfortunately this second round got a bit confused. The food arrived delivered by a manager but our drinks never came. We asked about that and were advised that the bartender was backed up. Our waiter was moving past out booth in both directions but never served our drinks. When asked about it he rolled his eyes and ran off returning in a few moments with our drinks. The food was ok. The drinks were great we do really like the margarita’s here. The ambience was good. The service was a bit less than average for this type of place. A decent meal at a fun place. We would return.

First of all I don’t know why all the bad reviews, decide to ignore them since it was across the street from my hotel, the place and the food were great. We walked in and were greeted and sat immediately, our sever Adam was great and fast. We had the nachos and the guacamole with shrimp which was amazing, and the drinks were great. I started with the heaven to margarita I believe don’t remember the exact name(the one with the seven liquor) and finish with the lime in the coconut margarita both were great. For dinner I had the Mexican flag and it was out of this world, my sister had the original fajita and that was good and the wife had three cheese enchiladas with chicken(don’t remember the name on the menu) and also was great Overall the whole experience was great. Definitely will come back and recommend to everybody

Went on a date here and the margarita was not fresh to start with. We ordered the queso fundito and it was awful. Swimming in grease and the cheese was not done. Our server said he would get the manager and 10 minutes later he told us the manager is busy and would get to us later. I asked to substitute beef for chicken in my meal and was told the chef does not like to do that so I can’t have it that way. Never going back there again.

«If you’re a bartender, tend your bar». That was the only tip my «bartender» got after I waited for a drink for over 10 minutes.(It wasn’t busy at all). When I finally asked for chips and salsa, she looked at me like I was crazy for suggesting such a silly thing. They never came. I was literally sitting at the bar with one other person. She must’ve been out back smoking a joint… who knows. This place is terrible.

I walked in without seeing the reviews, and initially thought the place looked nice, had a cool atmosphere, and decent menu. The complimentary chips and salsa were actually pretty good. I opened up Unilocal and was surprised to see 2STARS averaged over 90 reviews. Was I in the right place? And then the food came… I got the Grilled Steak Chimichanga. I was hungry and couldnt wait to obliterate this dish. The taste kind of slowed me down. The steak tasted like it came of a Mcdonalds burger. The flavor was very mild and bland which was surprising considering their salsa was spicier than most places. In fairness, I only tried one menu item, and the other person with me liked their entrée. And again, their free salsa and chips were actually better than most places. Its a decent enough family restaurant right by a major amusement park, so not a bad stop for the tourists coming through. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt that grilled steak items are not their best offering.

I must say I was impressed when I walked in the door. My family and I were on a trip to Sesame Place with the kids and wanted a good place to eat before we got back on the road. As we walked in we were immediately greeted and seated. As soon as we were seated our waiter came explained the menu to us because it was our first time and took our drink order. Within a few minutes we received our drinks but that was the last item we received timely. We placed our order and we waited a long time to receive the food in fact it was so long that the waiter came and apologized many times. We sat and watched other customers who were seated after us receive their food before us. I don’t know if you have ever tried to calm down a very hungry 5 and 1 year old but it’s hell!!! When we finally received our meals they were hot and very good!!! We loved our margaritas the best we ever had. Other than the slow service the food and drinks were excellent!!! I would go back but hopefully the slow service problem is fixed!
