Cedar Valley Resort specializes in families, reunions, girls getaways, biking groups, book clubs, knitting clubs, business and church retreats. Our family resort has 9 beautiful log sided cabins ranging in size from 1,400 sq’ to over 5,000 sq’ and will accommodate from 2 to 40 guests!

History

Established in 2001.

In 1928, Larry’s grandfather, Temmen, bought the beautiful 40 acres Cedar Valley Resort now resides on. Larry’s father, Gene, bought the land in the early 50’s. He started a mink farm operation which lasted for 45 years. In 1999, after Gene’s passing, Larry and Sheryl bought the property from Larry’s mother, Charlotte. They then began the conversion of the property to a resort. In 2001, the first three cabins were built. The following year brought two more 4 bedroom cabins to the young resort. Upon requests from their guests for a larger cabin, Larry and Sheryl created the Loon, a beautiful 6 bedroom cabin in 2003. Two years later, in 2005, the first 8 bedroom cabin arrived. In 2009, the Big Timber, our largest 8 bedroom, was completed leaving us wondering what will come next.
