At Shingle Express, we believe that there is only one way to install a roof — the right way. History

Established in 2009.

Shingle Express started a few years ago, and since then we’ve helped hundreds of people with their roofing needs. We worked on shingle, slate, cedar, rubber and metal roofs. We installed many new roofs, and we’ve repaired many old roofs.

Some jobs are as simple as putting a fallen gutter back, others are more complex, like installing a metal roof on a centuries old farm house. No matter what the job, we believe in using quality materials and doing the job right the first time.

Shingle Express works for home owners, business owners, insurance companies, property managers, investors and real estate agents. Our technicians are always on call, ²⁴⁄₇. Our job is to protect your home, because it’s more than just shingles and nails, it’s the roof over your head.

I spent many years, after college, working behind a computer. The urge to build and create led me to renovating all of the homes that I lived in, and I installed my first roof over thirty years ago. Since then, the urge pulled me into investment real estate. I purchased, renovated, installed roofs and sold many, many homes.

After installing my seventh roof in two years, I learned two things: First, I really enjoy roofing, and second, I am good at it. I started Shingle Express to move away from investment real estate, and into a trade that I find rewarding and fun.

Since that time, I worked with hundreds of home owners, and I’ve learned that most roofs that I’ve seen are sub-​standard. Builders either use unskilled labor, or their roofers just don’t care about quality. It shows up in wavy lines of shingles, exposed nail heads, incorrectly installed flashing and many other simple mistakes.

My goal is to train and retrain every employee, until I’m sure that they do it right!
