Viktor Yeliohin International Ballet Academy

What a tremendous school. this is, way better than ANY dance school in «greater» york. The nutcracker performance one word OUTSTANDING! This was my daughters 4^th nutcracker performance, 3 previous years in york and first one in lancaster. What made this performance so brilliant is that Viktor concentrated on the beautiful story of the dance and ballet of the show, where as in the York production it is all about the exploiting of the show for financial and status gain by using the parents in the show. Viktor uses the professional donestk dancers as the parents not who contributes the most to the «non-​profit» organization. Truly a remarkable show that truly utilizes the beautiful techniques of ballet and i am not a big ballet fan but i was moved by how well and graceful the dancers were and not only the professional dancers but Viktor’s local dancers as well. Plus Viktor makes himself «available» to EVERYONE! No matter how small the question is. In 5 years in York never even once did the propietor even introduce themselves. It truly was a remarkable show and very affordable, you didn’t have to feel like you had to rob fort knox to be part of the performance.
