Tech Talk Live is THE regional conference for IT professionals in education. Our two-​day conference focuses on the specific issues that technology professionals face in the educational environment. It provides networking opportunities with other IT professionals, as well as the ability to connect with quality technology vendors significant to our specific audience. Our conference includes multiple tracks, five meals, chances to test your skills for prizes, and the latest developments for IT pros in education. Tech Talk Live attracts technology professionals from the Northeastern region to our Conference Center at IU 13 in Lancaster, PA and has a return attendee rate of 97%.

History

Established in 2010.

Lancaster-​Lebanon IU 13 is an educational service agency in PA that provides a wide variety of services and training to school districts. Tech Talk Live was created as one of our own system administrator was frustrated about how there were no affordable conferences for IT professionals who are working in the field of education. The only conference that was remotely related to educational technology focused more on technology integration into the curriculum, not the day-​to-​day issues that technology professionals face in the educational environment. A small team of professionals in our Technology Services Department decided to take on the task and created Tech Talk Live in 2010. Tech Talk Live attracts technology professionals from the Northeastern region. One hour sessions presented by experts in a wide array of topics, offering ideas you can put to use immediately.
