We just bought our Lance trailer 2285 from Dan. There was no sales pressure & their prices are the best we found. Jeff showed us how everything worked. Jeff is an avid RV owner & is so knowledgable about the Lance product. Jeff checked out everything for us including our Anderson weight distribution hitch & trailer brakes. This a family owned business & they are all really nice to do business with. The are located just a few miles from the Lance factory & they do warranty & repairs. I highly recommend doing business with this dealer.

Just picked up a used Lance 1575 camper from Richards Boat Center. It had the perfect combination of accessories that we were looking for. The price made it worth driving from Denver to get it! Staff was most helpful in training me on the systems operation and hitching it to my truck. What could have been a daunting process was made very easy and I was comfortable with my unit as i drove off the lot.

We just bought a Lance trailer here, and I can’t say enough good things about our experience! Richard sat down with us for a few hours, when we first came in, just to look. He was so helpful, offering good advice, without any sales pressure.
We knew right away that we wanted to do business with him! Dan made the actual buying of the trailer easy, and gave us a good price! Jeff did a thorough demonstration of how every thing worked in the trailer, again, with lots of good advice. All the service people went above and beyond what we expected!

We drove all the way from Upland to Lancaster to buy our Lance Trailer. They have the BEST Prices! And, the service from Dan, Jeff and Tom made the experience even better!!! Would not recommend Richard’s for boat repairs I have had my boat in service and each time repairs were made was told the boat is running great would go to the lake and boat would die at the dock would never run under load. One time was told me that the valves were bad (noise) and the motor (that was just installed) would need at least a valve job, brought the boat home and in listening for the noise found that it was not a engine noise but a flywheel bolt that was just taping the bell housing. then after a tune-​up, and a «load» test was done took the boat to the river once again it was a no go, took it to another shop in AZ, and found out that the work they said was done wasn’t! I am not alone in this type of service, other friends that have gone there have had similar issues.

My husband and I came here to pick up our new Lance 1575. Our trailer was ready for us when we showed up and they even had the AC runnung so that it would be nice and comfortable as we did our walk through. Jeff walked us through the trailer and explained everything to us. He was able to answer all of our questions and was very knowledgeable. He was a pleasure to work with. We experienced the same treatment with everyone that worked there. Dan had all of our finance paperwork ready for us! It was a very quick and smooth process. Finally we worked with Tom. He gave us a nice discount on a satellite dish. We were given complimentary shirts and were even offered pizza that they were all having for lunch. Just a very nice group of guys. This was by no means a quick drive for us, but we would make the trip back here before going anywhere else after our experience. Thanks to all of you for your help! It truly was a pleasure! On a side note, there is an adorable little dog who is apart of the group. Being dog lovers, we absolutely loved that ;-)

I recently bought a new Lance 2185 Travel Trailer from Richard’s and had a great experience start to finish. I drove 150 miles from San Diego bypassing at least two Lance dealers on the way.
It all started with a factory tour, which I highly recommend. Dan, the main salesman from Richard’s leads these on Wednesday mornings. He spent about two hours taking us though every part of the factory and answering a million questions. He seemed to have a really good grasp of the product. The factory tour reinforced my perception of the quality and durability of the Lance trailer. For me the extra $ 5k or so to buy a Lance was well worth it.
After the tour Dan was the most low key sales person I have ever worked with. There was absolutely no pressure. We also really liked that he gave us the same price to order exactly what we wanted from the factory vs taking one from his lot. As for the price, it was the lowest we could find by a significant margin. Since there are no delivery charges, they have an unfair advantage. We ordered our trailer with $ 1000 down and the promise of a 6 – 8 week delivery.
I was initially dubious about dealer financing, but on Dan’s advice I gave them a try and got a better rate than USAA or my local bank.
Yesterday I picked up the trailer and had a similarly good experience. Jeff gave me a very thorough walkthrough while Kyle set up the Andersen hitch. As a high volume Lance dealer, they really knew their stuff, and Kyle took the time to not only put on the hitch, but to measure the drop on my tow vehicle and dial it in until we had a level ride for both the trailer and tow vehicle.
I would not hesitate to use them again.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE… I had my eye on this beck boat that I had been looking at for over 2 weeks now, so I decided to go and view it with the full amount of money that he was asking for. I got there and looked around I saw ⁵⁄₆ people that were around helping one person so I was there about 10 min. NO ONE EVER GREETED US, NO ONE SAID HOW CAN I HELP YOU, NO ONE SAID ILL BE WITH YOU IN A MOMENT. It was like my husband and I were totally invisible! BUT I GUESS OUR MONEY WASNT GOOD ENOUGH DUE TO THE COLOR OF OUR SKIN.

I drove from Reno Nevada to Lancaster to look at a used lance travel trailer. I was told that the trailer had solar on it. It did not. However, the trailer was in excellent condition and the price was better than anywhere else I looked. Once we got past the no solar, Service was excellent! Transaction was smooth and explanation of how to use the trailer was superb. I do highly recommend Richards boat and RV. They have a large inventory and clientele so you might have to wait a little while for service. Once they are with you, I couldn’t ask for better service.

These guys are great!!! I traveled 400 miles from Northern California to buy my Lance Trailer from Richard’s because their price is SUBSTANCIALLY lower than any other Lance dealer in California. Given this I didn’t really expect great service since their profit margin must be pretty thin. They totally exceeded my expectations. The service and attention we received was exceptional. Do not hesitate to buy a boat, camper, or trailer from Richard’s, you will not be disappointed. Special thanks to Jeff and Dan in Sales and Tom and Cody in Service.

From start to finish this was the best vehicle (travel trailer) experience I have ever had. I emailed them for a price and was happy to get an actual price back (and a great one at that). None of the dickering BS you get from a lot of places. I was nervous because I was buying from out of state but everything went great. I was especially happy with the trailer inspection and prep that Jeff did. I highly recommend these guys.

Unfortunately the shop where I purchased my boat closed down and left this the only place to take my boat locally. The person who owns this place must be super rich cause they treated me like they didn’t need my business.
I had an item that was under warranty by the manufacture, I had already received the parts from them and, talked to them about sending a check for the labor cost. All Richard’s was supposed to do was to remove the old parts and install the new ones. Well I guess that proved to be too much trouble cause the day after I dropped off my boat he called me and said he was having trouble getting ahold of the warranty person. (everytime I called him hey called me back within half an hour) Then 1 hour later he called me and said «he’s at his whits end trying to make sure he’s gonna get paid» so I told him I would take it somewhere else and so I did.
I’m glad I did cause the new place was willing to help me and I will be making the extra drive out of town to take it elsewhere. I suggest you do the same.
