Established in 1980.

Established in 1980 the business was taken over by professional musician and guitarist Ted Brooks in 1986. Since that time, Lancaster Music has established itself in the music community as the place to go for Musical instruments, sound systems, school band rentals, musicians supplies and music instruction and guitar repair. Many churches, schools and city government entities depend on Lancaster Music for their music and sound needs. The staff is knowledgeable in all aspects pro audio, video, stage lighting design, recording and installation and service. We offer our customer creative solutions to meet any music or sound needs.

Began with piano lessons at an early age but was really attracted to the sound of the guitar at the age of 12. Played in bands and church through high school. Studied music and theory at Mountain View College. Took jazz guitar master classes with Jack Peterson. Studied at North Texas State University 2 years. Private guitar teacher for The Melody Shops of Dallas for 7 years. CEO and President of Lancaster Music Inc from 1986 to present. Member of Namm, (National Association of Music Merchants).
