Lancaster General Health Express

This place is a joke. Apparently when you call and ask a bunch of questions they lie to you on the phone. I needed to get a TB test and that is a convenient location for my busy life. I not only googled but called the morning of to ask about if they offer TB tests. The woman on the phone insured me they do and I can just come in anytime and that I didn’t need an appointment. Once I arrive I find out that they won’t see me because my primary care physician isn’t crooked oak and I have insurance. If I didn’t have insurance though they would be able to see me. This is the dumbest thing I have ever heard considering they call themselves a walk in clinic. My irritation is the fact that I called and asked questions and during that period of time I was not informed that if I was not a patient of crooked oak I could not go there. Not only was I taken back but the lady was very rude and didn’t even seem to care that I was standing there confused and kind of upset that I couldn’t get the rest done. I don’t understand the point of this clinic at all and can promise that I will never be visiting considering I have insurance that they apparently cannot take only because I don’t go to crooked oak even though I don’t have a PCP.
