To control quality, we do not outsource any of our carpentry. History

Established in 1959.

Kreider & Diller Builders was founded in 1959 through a partnership formed by Arthur Kreider and Donald Diller, Sr., after both gained valuable experience working for another quality contractor. Their small business prospered, engaging mostly in residential construction and remodeling. The company incorporated in 1964, becoming Kreider & Diller, Inc., and expanded to include commercial construction. In 1983, Donald Diller, Jr. bought the business and changed the name to Kreider & Diller Builders, Inc. The company serves Lancaster and York, PA, plus Dauphin, Perry, Lebanon, Berks and Chester counties in Pennsylvania.

Kreider and Diller Builders, Inc. are members of the Building Industry Association of Lancaster County, the Remodelers Council, the Pennsylvania Builders Association, National Association of Home Builders, Historic Preservation Trust of Lancaster County, Lancaster County Chamber of Commerce, U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the National Federation of Independent Businesses.

Don D.

Business Owner

The love of the construction business was instilled in Donald Diller, Jr. as he worked as a construction laborer during the summers and studied architectural drafting at Willow Street Vo-​Tech. After high school, Don gained additional hands-​on experience while working in the company’s office full-​time, learning the «nuts and bolts» of operating a construction business. With this background, he took over the management of the company and continues maintaining its reputation for high quality, professional competence, and personal service. Don currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Building Industry Association of Lancaster County.
