History

Established in 1995.

Store founded in Pleasantville, OH in 1995. Sold tropical and marine fish for several years at that location. Leased a small facility in 2001 – 2002 and sold tropical and marine fish. With new addition to family on the way we put our equipment in storage after our lease expired. In 2008 we found a new facility in Lancaster to relaunch the store. By 2015 this store has been in continuous operation for over 5 years and we are approaching full time store hours. In addition, we’re expanding into our warehouse to double the store size and stock advanced aquarium products and livestock.

We’re including solar panels and related equipment into our future product mix. Solar panels power a growing portion of our facility and will provide a substantial portion of the power requirements of our expansion project. Future business plans include a dedicated storefront for solar panel equipment and heat pump hot water tanks.
