Pete DiCarlo — you asked what it would take to improve upon the 3 star rating I gave your restaurant. My method of rating gives 3 stars to a solid restaurant which deserves consideration when choosing a place to eat. To receive additional stars you need what I have termed a «hook» that brings you back over and over again depending upon your tastes, mood and pocketbook. This«hook» can be a particular dish, ambiance of the restaurant or value. The«hook» puts a location closer to the top of the list when I select where to eat. Step one is to get on the list which you have accomplished.

Our«go to» restaurant. Never had anything I didn’t like. The only trouble I have is deciding what to order. And that’s just the food. The drinks are equally amazing. The dirty martini is half drink/half appetizer, with a skewer of stuffed olives. So good!

I ordered the scallop and shrimp special last night and it was delicious. I had a baked potato and green beans. Everything was well prepared.

This place was amazing. First impressions are everything and this experience from ‘go’ was truly top notch. The service from Hannah and Lisa Erin H. was outstanding. Teamwork and culture is so familiar and apparent when dining out at JB’s. The price is actually low considering the dining experience and quality of food. This is a great place to eat! Cheers!

Great place! Food is amazing– steaks are good and the burgers are some of the best I’ve ever eaten. Bar has a lot of great drinks! Dessert, the cookie, is so good! Warm, gooey, and hits the spot. Only downfall is locating– always crowded and hard to find parking at the mall.

I have reviewed Dawson restaurant before I feel compelled to review it once again. First of all the quality of the food here is impeccable the restaurant is very clean the service is excellent. Very apparent the owners here really know what they’re doing and know how to run a restaurant. I consider myself a major restaurant tour I know a good restaurant from a bad restaurant I have been eating out for years and I know quality food. From the chicken they buy the fish the red meat the salad the quality shrimp they always use for their shrimp cocktails quality from top to bottom. And let’s not forget about the excellent pasta dishes. Their desserts are always excellent. This restaurant chain does not buy cheap like many others. Yes I have to also mention their spare ribs they are simply the best anywhere around the meat falls off the bone. And there prime rib is second to none it’s never over fatty and always cooked to your liking. The managers here are always very professional these managers are trained right they really care about what they are doing. And the server’s here are impeccable we always have Nancy has been there a long time she really knows her job quite well she is an excellent server. But we have other servers there when Nancy is not there and I must say we have never ever had bad service. I consider this restaurant probably at this point one of the best restaurant in the Bucks County area overall as far as quality and consistency and believe me I have eaten in many many restaurants. Oh yes and did I mention their baked potatoes there are no baked potatoes in the area better than theirs end of story. Like I said earlier they don’t buy cheap they buy quality. It’s almost hard to believe that this place is actually a chain a very small chain of restaurants that are managed right.

Food is good. Restaurant is very nice –as is the staff. My only disappointment is the lack of craft beer selection with having so many craft breweries locally.

TERRIBLESERVICE. I will be calling the manager to complain. I sat at the bar thinking I would get instant service but instead was IGNORED. I sat there for 15 – 20 minutes without any acknowledgment. Didn’t get a menu. Didn’t get silverwear. Didn’t get a damn napkin, hello, NOTHING. Got up and grabbed myself a menu and a stack of napkins. Still nothing. A couple sat across from me and INSTANTLY received service. TF?!? They were asked what they wanted along with silverware, menu, and a glass of water. Guy next to me realized I wasn’t being served and pretty much told me I had to get his attention like him and his party did. You know what I have a problem with that. You know why? BECAUSEIT’S NOTTHATBUSY. The server looked at me in my face like 3 times with no acknowledgement. Any who I won’t go off on a tangent, you get where I’m going with this. I’m not the one to complain about service but this was ridiculous. I had a great day so far and coming here just ruined it. So upsetting. The food was delicious but I’m sorry I can’t base this review off of it. See I would have just left but the thing is I’m traveling here for work and do not have a car. My options are limited. I may come back another time and sit at a table instead of the booth. But if the guy that I met this time is my server, I’m getting up and walking out.

Great food, huuuuge props to the kitchen! Service was decent, and a surprise dessert for my wife on her birthday. Everything is delicious, so don’t worry about trying something new.

Lancaster was a stopover for us on a long trip. We looked at Unilocal reviews and decided to give this place a try. We were extremely pleased. We were seated in the bar area, which included a happy hour menu. That was a pleasant surprise for us. We ordered the sweet/spicy wings and crab dip appetizers. Both were very good. Our entrée was the filet mignon. The sides my husband and I both ordered were the green bean almondine, baked potato and broccoli. We both loved the green bean almondine. The almonds had a sweetness to them… so good. They were cooked to perfection and so was the broccoli. Baked potatoes are pretty standard wherever you go. The filets were very tender and juicy. The maple butter you get with your bread was also delicious. Our waters were filled about seven times while we were there. I am a big water drinker and they were always«johnny on the spot» with the refills. It seemed like a great team effort. I think someone different refilled my water each time. It seemed like the bartenders kept an eye on the tables and yelled to someone if a table needed water. We did have a very slight issue during our meal, really beyond anyone’s control, and the manager came over immediately and made everything perfect. We were so very pleased with our visit. I highly recommend this place!!!

This place is in good location base that is close to the mall and plenty of parking. If there is a wait in line you can take a walk at the mall and comeback. The restaurant itself is cozy and fancy. kind of take your girl on a first date. The food plates are huge and tasty. Drinks are also reasonable. I felt like the menu can be expanded a little more that the reason for my 4 star. But overall good food, great atmosphere and easy to find.

Our server Brooke was fantastic. The food, meh. I would expect a bit more based on the façade of the establishment. The diversity and prices of their lunch menu is noteworthy. Everything we ate here was pretty average. The portions were generous which was a plus. I wouldn’t come out of my way to eat here. If you are around for lunch, it has decent prices on their lunch menu. It’s also a better choice than some of food court choices if you are visiting the mall. I did not leave dissatisfied but really expected much more. I was very happy with the service, presentation and cleanliness.

I was visiting my cousins and they said we had to come here and boy were they right. The restaurant is conveniently located near a mall, so there’s plenty of parking. There’s a nice, intimate ambiance in the restaurant and the booths are very comfortable. They even have children’s seats that can be placed in the booth itself, which is great. The service is very good and any server will come by and get you anything you need, so it’s nice to see them all working together. The best thing about this restaurant is easily the food and man, they cook a nice steak. I got the Cajun seasoned steak and it was cooked perfectly and it was absolutely delicious. The garlic mashed potatoes are also a must-try here! The portions are generous and I really enjoyed my meal here. I definitely recommend it for anyone in the mood for a good steak!

Food was excellent. Manager was unable to direct employees to take care of us and ended up having to do it himself. A little pricey, but worth it. Fish and chips was awesome. My filet was slightly overdone, but the rest of the meal was beyond excellent and made up for it.

Jbdawsons is the real deal! It is a fun, well run restaurant. My last meal here was with my significant other and she ordered the filet Oscar and I had the ribs and crab cake. My favorite part of going out to eat with her is that I know she won’t finish her meal which means I get 1.5 meals. Having tried both, let me assure you that this food is delicious! You won’t find any crazy new ideas here, but what you will find is a reliable delicious treat. You won’t be disappointed.

For a «somewhat» chain restaurant, this restaurant is warm and friendly. The food is good, it’s just always inconsistent. Don’t come here expecting to eat the same thing twice, chances are, it will be different the second time around. Sometimes it’s worse, sometimes it’s even better. Things to try: Spinach Dip/Asian chicken salad/BBQ Ribs/Maui ribeye

Ok… So we arrived around 18:30 and were seated right away. ordered the Moscow mule for drinks and the app we decided on is the twisted shrimp. About 5 minutes and both arrived… Love the Moscow mule… The shrimp a little over done and mushy… Good flavor though with a slight spicy bite… Over done isn’t a deal breaker since the coating is very yummy! Entrée: the roasted half chicken with garlic mashed taters and steamed broccoli. Broccoli is perfect! Steamed long enough to warm it and leave that awesome crunch that is should have… Huge portion too! Mashed taters… Well they were mashed… They had a hint of garlic… They were tasty. The chicken comes in a bowl sort of thing with about a cup of «broth»…I think it is a bit on the salty side… And also makes the taters a little soggy… If that is possible and the skin of the chicken that is in the broth gets not as crisp as the part that is not… I’d rather my skin be a bit crispy… So my opinion… Less or no broth… Would make this much better… No desert… But over all let’s go with like 3 ¾ stars… I think Unilocal needs to allow partial stars because of people like me… Is there a place to rate Unilocal?Probably but… I’m too lazy to look. As with all the reviews on here they are someones personal opinion… And opinions are like as holes… Pretty much everyone has one so go there and form YOUR opinion for everyone to see! And if you wasted the amount of time to read all the way to this point… you really need something better to do with your time… So… Go ahead… Click off of here… What are you waiting f…

I asked my co-workers where in Lancaster is a romantic and cheaper place to eat, so this was one of the options given. From the outside it looks just like another TGIFriday’s. I walked in and this place is SO much nicer. Can’t even compare to it. It was pretty empty for a Tuesday evening. We sat right away, the staff was so kind. We were offered bread, which was honey-tasting. It was delicious. There’s a good variety of food on the menu, which is always a plus on my ratings. The appetizer, Bruschetta(half order) was filling enough. It was wonderful! I ordered my meal which was Grilled Salmon, with a side order of whichever you choose, I had rice and beans that also came with a caesar salad. YUM! I doggie bagged basically everything. The bread for starters, then had the Bruschetta, which was all bread as well… just filled me up from there. Maybe bread appetizer wasn’t such a good idea? This restaurant is a new fav, for sure.
