You know those guys. The ones who stand in the food court yelling«try sample!» and waving some kind of toothpick-speared meat in your direction. Normally I steer toward the other side of the room, or just keep my head down. But for some reason, this weekend I stopped. This particular friendly asian man tried to get a high-five from my 18 month old son(and succeeded) and then gave my 3 year old daughter and I each a piece of bourbon chicken(which he refrained from yelling at me about — probably why I took it and tried it). My wife walked up and got her own toothpick’s worth, and both of us were shocked. This chicken was tasty, grilled, and had a sauce that didn’t overpower. We hadn’t planned on eating out, but for under 5 bucks each, both of us got a full take-home plate of bourbon chicken and two sides(noodles, veggies, rice, there are actually several things available). It was plenty of food, although they do have an upsize option for a dollar more. With my bourbon chicken, I had the steamed veggies and some lo mein noodles. While the noodles were good, the veggies were excellent. They were steamed just right — not too crunchy, not too soft — and although I didn’t get enough carrots and broccoli compared to copious amounts of cabbage, I was pleased with them as a side to my chicken. If you’re at Park City and need quick, cheap eats, give this place a try. It tasted fresh and was done well. Uncommon for food-court asian food, for sure.
