Description

Specialties

Dr. Jay is the owner and sole-provider at Function 1st. He is uniquely qualified with both a Doctor of Chiropractic and Master of Science in Sports Science and Rehab.

Utilizing both of these specialties, he operates a low-volume practice geared at meeting individual patient needs.

Whether your interest is injury resolution, athletic improvement, or just a seasonal adjustment in order to function well at work, Dr. Jay will do his best to see you achieve your goals and reach your maximum health potential in a natural way.

History

Established in 2012.

Following graduation, Dr. Jay completed a Master of Science degree in Sports Science and Rehabilitation at the Virginia Institute of Sports Medicine. Upon completion, he moved back to Lancaster, PA and worked as an associate for another chiropractic office for roughly 2 years. When visions seemed to be leading down different ways, Dr. Jay left the practice in the late summer of 2012 and began the journey of operating his own practice.

As the only employee and sole-owner of the practice, patients deal with Dr. Jay directly in all aspects of their care and treatments. This allows Dr. Jay to operate a low-volume, low-overhead practice and maintain focus on patient care instead of financial figures and marketing. Although the practice is small, you’ll still receive the highest quality care possible!
