ERC is a private, family-owned business that was started in 1988 by Richard Middleton as a wastewater and waste oil treatment facility. We have grown from a small local treatment facility to the largest residual waste processing facility in the Mid-Atlantic Region, processing millions of gallons of residual waste every year.

Kenneth D Lefever
Bio
Born and raised in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, Ken Lefever is President of Environmental Recovery Corporation of PA and Environmental Recovery Corporation of MD. He graduated from Shippensburg University, Shippensburg, Pennsylvania with a degree in accounting and business administration.
Ken has worked in various family-owned businesses for most of his career. He also has Fortune 500 experience. He was an Area Controller for Republic Industries, a $ 3 billion integrated waste hauling company in Ft Lauderdale, Florida. He handled mergers and acquisitions of the east region which he helped grow from $ 30 million to $ 130 million in 18 months. In his position as President of Wilton Armetale he led a successful turnaround of the company taking annual losses in excess of a million dollars to a profitable company in less than a year which resulted in the sale of the business in June of 2010. In his current role with ERC the company has grown 20% per year wit
