Not too happy with this place. Asked for a gel French manicure but just got a French polish change for $ 40. The gel polish is peeling off after a week. Products must not be fresh.

I had the worst experience so unprofessional! I explained to the my nail person I had limited time she was so slow I ended up walking out. Nails not done and the owner still charged me full price!!! Defiantly not a place I would recommend or plan on ever going back to.

This was my first time here. And I was very very happy with it :)
The girls were super nice, it felt like everybody was good friends so it made the environment really relaxed.
Zoe (zoey? I don’t know) lol was very thorough and it was nice to not have to repeat myself 52 times. Haha
Best part is that they are like 2 minutes from my apartment :)

My first experience wasn’t so great, I went in for a fill and they started lifting the next day. I was disappointed. I decided to try again and was pleasantly surprised! I love my nails, there beautiful! Brittany did an excellent job.

I love this place! I started going when I was in beauty school and ever since then that’s my go to place. The owners are amazing syliva (the owner) does an amazing job she’s only done my nails once but she teaches all the girls there to be absolutely amazing! Carlos her husband is sweet and always finds a way to get me in even when I come in last min. It’s a very chill relaxed place of you want to talk the girls are more then happy to converse with you if you want to just sit and not day much they are. good at just doing there job. The quality of work is definitely worth what you pay. My last set stayed on for a month. Awesome!

Unlike any nail salon I’ve been before. All young staff that all speak English and they play dance music. It’s pretty cool. Would give them 5 stars if they did manicure and pedicure at the same time because I’m always in a hurry. Prices are decent too.

I’ve been going to Chic for about a year in a half now and I love Sylvia (the owner). She’s always been so nice and my nails are always perfect. The shop is always very clean as well.

Honestly I think this place is full of bullshit. Maybe that’s why some of the girls that were so good at doing nails had left. The only person I recommend there is Laura with gel nails. The owner and husband not so nice, pretty stuck up.

We had a great time!, great girls and all of our nails looked beautiful when we left :)

Well first off, I’ve been coming here for like 5yrs now and have always been satisfied! I’ve tried other places, but regret it cuz the work sucks! All these people who are complaining about the «Illegal» products that are used just sound so stupid! If the products were illegal, I think they’d be out of business a LONG time ago! My nails are fine underneath and have ALWAYS BEEN!!! The others who are complaining about the management being rude sounds just as stupid as the illegal products! Lol they ALWAYS acknowledge whoever walks in! I’ve always carried on conversation with whoever was doing my nails as well as the owners! I guess the complainers are mad cuz they didn’t get their butts kissed or more then usual attention! Your there to get a service done, not social hour! Your gonna get back what you give out so maybe you should check your own attitude also! Haters are ALWAYS gonna hate! I always say if you have haters, you must be doing something right!

A great nail bar… Cymphony is fabulous & has done great job on my nails! Lots of colors to choose from.

To start off with, I don’t typically get my nails done in salons, and have never found a salon atmosphere that I love… so I just do my own nails usually. I thought I would leave a review though, because I have been here multiple times since this is my sister-in-law’s favorite place (I never object because I don’t really know any salons I like better). The salon is decorated cute and really makes you WANT to love it. All of the girls speak English, which is nice, but I am incredibly turned off by how unprofessional the staff can be. Last time we went the one who did my sister-in-law’s nails (I will have to update if I think of her name!) was so incredibly rude and unprofessional I didn’t think I would ever go back (she kept telling my sister-​in-​law that her nails were ugly and «stubby» and that the polish color she chose was unflattering. She literally chose a completely different color that my sister-​in-​law didn’t want and put that on her instead) BUT we didn’t tip and decided to call and let management know about that specific employee once we got home — the owner was very nice and apologetic and since then when we go back we just ask to NOT have the rude lady, who unfortunately still works there. My nails always turn out fine, except for when they were flared ridiculously large, and I’ve never really had any other problems besides that one incident.
PS — If you get acrylics they will flare the HECK out of them haha! If you don’t like that style you must stress to them NOT to flare your nails.

The only good thing I can say about this place is the gel polish stayed in good condition not like I’ve received from other nails salons.
First of all the owner is very rude, doesn’t acknowledge you as a customer…
Second of all the dress code there needs to be worked on, girls showing mid section…
Third of all the place is dirty, once you sit down and look around you’ll notice…
Lastly I got an infection on a nail, which is a first for me…
I wouldn’t waste your time.

I met Sylvia at a different salon over 10 years ago, and have followed her around ever since :-)
She is a total perfectionist, and teaches the girl at the shop to do the nails to perfection, as well. They are all really good and creative there, and are usually the first in AV to come up with really innovative designs. I have not, and will not, go anywhere else for my nails.

If I could give NO STARS, I would.
Not only is management RUDE and inconsiderate of their clients… They use illegal products which left fungus on all of my nails… Which took 4 months to grow off.
DO NOT GO HERE.
I PROMISE YOU WILL REGRET IT.

When I enter a salon, I’d like to be greeted. Did not get that.
Now the reason I’m writing this review — my lip wax. Nice lady but she ripped the skin off my lip. And now, a day before NYE, my lip looks and feels awful. A correctly done wax shouldn’t leave you with missing layers of skin. Messed up my money maker.

I really USED to love coming here since 2011″ Great atmosphere, good cool music, English speaking emplyees and the «bar» feeling was awesome except some nice wine or champagne would have been nice while getting your nails done.
But… besides all that. .
There’s a BIG reason I never returned since early this year. because I caught infection on my nails :(
That I went to the doctor and caught it on time. That is really really embarrassing as a girl to get. patty used to always do my nails. I couldn’t understand why… they seemed very clean. So for that I was never going to give them 5stars. also EXTREMELY PRICEY! And the owners husband who greets and charges by the entrance almost kept a $ 20 bill that was with 60 $ change he gave me back. like helloo dude I’m not a 3 yr old OBVIOUSLY I was gonna notice. I know 1 plus 1 ;)

To follow up with my review. The owner Sylvia called me on my cellphone. She was very rude and confrontational about my Unilocal review. She was very upset. I thought she was calling me to apologize about how unprofessional and rude she had treated me. Absolutely not the case. She called being very hostile. Did not let me speak my concerns. Several times I asked her to let me speak. Sylvia has forgotten customers pay her bills. I definitely would not recommend her nail shop. The girls there are great. Very skilled and knowledgeable however I refuse to support a shop who’s owner does not value and appreciates her customers.

I have been getting my nails done with Laura (Torales) she’s simply the best. always a pleasure. My favorite nail salon.
