The café at 301 n queen is very pleasant to visit. Had a fabulous and very large peppermint latte and a almond cranberry cookie. Found the staff very pleasant and helpful. Will visit again as this is a great asset to the Queen street shops!

Cute, but not much here, when all is said and done.
Some nice-​looking cheeses, but the chocolates are a small town’s idea of what passes for sophisticated. There’s Fran’s and Vosges, which you can find in Whole Foods Market in any real city. Actually, Whole Foods has a much-​wider selection.
And Jo’s chocolate grahams? I think I’ve seen them at convenience stores.
Guess you could call it the Dean & Deluca of Lancaster…

No doubt some of nicest things in Lancaster merchandise wise. I can and will make no disparaging remarks about that.
That said, I’ve found the staffing there to be exceptionally cold, unfriendly and unhelpful.
I’ve shopped at many stores much like this in other cities and Bonbonniere is far and away the least pleasant experience I’ve had among them. It’s a shame that the owners don’t understand the difference between sophisticated and pretentious.

I can’t say enough good things about the Bonbonniere. For such a small candy shop, they have a huge variety of treats. I like the chocolate covered pretzel cameos and the raspberry fudge the best, and the truffles are also excellent. My fiancé loves the real-​fruit gummi bears.
I purchased 400 pieces of candy as favors for my wedding from the Bonbonniere and not only was the candy delicious, the staff was very helpful and professional. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs gifts for a wedding or party.
