I had never been to this place before, they had a large amount of toppings and the yogurt was ok. The original Tart tasted funny, i usually get that flavor at any of the places i go. They had a plain flavor that I liked a lot though. Seriously, they had every type of topping you could think of… and some you didn’t think of. I will be back.

I truly enjoy frozen yogurt it’s my weakness! I love coming to berry star it’s the best place in the AV they have every topping you can think of there flavors taste great! And their staff is very friendly and eager to help with anything! It’s very clean. Staff is always cleaning after people I just love everything about it. However, Since I am a regular I come in almost everyday especially to the one in Lancaster the thing that is concerning to me is I have not seen a male employee at the Lancaster location they are all girls. Other than that berry star is just truly the best I defiantly recommend

Very clean. Always someone cleaning up after people serve. I come here a couple times a month with my kiddos and they prefer this location to any of the other yogurt spots nearby.

Horrible service. Not only does the counter person over charge me but then argues when I tell her she has. Then when I check the receipt and it shows that she’s over charged me, she has to have a meeting with two other people in the store to figure out what to do. The manager then states that she has to call the owner before she can refund me my money. Last time I ever go here, I’ll give Sweet Frog my business from now on.

Berrystar is the best! This location is right across from LCP(Lancaster city park) so visiting for some frozen yogurt after a long game of tennis has been a routine for me. Its funny that I live in Northern California now(known for their froyo) yet I find it really hard to enjoy anyplace as much as I enjoy some good Ol’ fashioned Lancaster frozen yogurt. I love that I can find other 10 flavors of frozen yogurt that are clearly labeled. I appreciate that they identify low fat from nonfat and its so organized. Barrister really offers any topping you can think of also! From captain crunch and cheesecake bites to any kind of fruit you can imagine, berry stay has it. The location itself is very clean, its not in the greatest area but not in the worst. Despite other reviews, I have found the staff here to be quite accommodating and friendly. I will definitely be back!

There isn’t a very big selection of flavors and they are a bit pricey. We got 2 small with toppings and came out to $ 17! Eeek! However the yogurt is good and seems fresh. If it wasn’t for the prices I would definitely go back.

This place is a solid four. I would and probably will, go again. The reason I came to Berrystar is that I heard a rumor they had those baba or popper things and they DO! They would be a five but some things through me off… The mostly white interior may look clean but to me it screams unfriendly. And the cashier had no personality. Like deadpan. I’m not a award winning comedienne but I do like to crack a joke here and there… Nothing. No emotions. barely got us through the line. The frozen yogurt was awesome! The peanut butter was SO good but it was soooo slow and my unchecked ADD cannot handle that. The chocolate and raspberry were much faster so I got more of those. The popper things were GREAT. They had two flavors. I wish they would have more but hey, no one ever knows about them… This is an upstanding place to get frozen yogurt. I would go again.

Inexpensive, whimsical, and tasty. The toppings aren’t always very fresh(overly tart blackberries and slightly dehydrated watermelon), but the candy will not sadden any children. Great as a dessert stop after dinner.

The yogurt is good but they need more fresh fruit! Also the selection is very simple. It was good but not a yogurt land. Just less can items and more fresh items.

Love this place. It’s clean inside and out. The staff is friendly, the fruit is fresh and they are rarely out of yogurt. It’s surrounded by a great environment too, so you don’t feel like you can’t socialize outside. My wife and I go here often for our date nights.

I go out of my way from Palmdale to go to the Lancaster Berrystar for one reason… PEANUTBUTTER. Why the Palmdale store never has peanut butter yogurt, I have no idea, but I never go there for that reason alone. So props to the Lancaster store for carrying a required flavor in my book. Now get the Palmdale store to wake up and add it to their lineup on a regular basis and save me some gas.

Yum Yum Yum. I love this place. It’s super clean and the staff is simply darling. A lot of choices and excellent variety of toppings. Everything tastes and looks great. Only thing the neighborhood is not that fancy. You may see a couple of flakes come in and freeload. Just remember that’s what we are paying for. Other than that this place is great. I wish there was one in East Palmdale. They do have one in West Palmdale by the mall. Cheers!

I’ve been to pretty much every froyo place in the AV but this Berrystar takes the cake. It always smells like freshly cleaned and it is aways stocked up on fruits and other toppings. I get the same thing every time… original tart with strawberries and kiwi with a little chocolate chips. Soooo good. The cashiers are friendly and professional, and the prices are great. This will forever be my favorite place to get frozen yogurt.

I used to come here every week or so as my sweet treat, they always have a good base selection of yogurts… my favorite is the cheesecake flavor, but the original flavor is good without being too tart. They also have a good selection of toppings where you can go as healthy to unhealthy as you want. The store is very clean and the cashiers always friendly, sometimes they hand out coupons also for future visits(which is part of the reason why I had incentive to go back!)

Not a fan. I had some plain tart from a Yogurtland the night before and I was craving that creamy texture and tartness. I was under the impression that all froyo places are more or less the same before I visited Berrystar. After all, it shouldn’t be that hard to make plain tart frozen yogurt right? Berrystar’s plain tart was extremely icy and well, not tart at all. It’s tolerable, but it wouldn’t be my first choice for froyo by a long shot. I really missed the creamy texture I usually associate with froyo. Their toppings tasted funny as well. One of the fruits — I think the strawberry slices — had an odd chemical taste. Furthermore, I swear some of the raspberries were still semi-frozen. Even the coconut flakes tasted off. like plastic. So disappointing since I’m craving original tart froyo a lot during my pregnancy. Hopefully I’ll be able to find a better froyo place in the AV. Service was friendly though.

Most places that I’ve been to have yogurt for 0.60 something cents and up. But this place has it for only 0.38 cents per ounce! Total for 3 people came out to around only $ 10! Freakin’ amazing! Usually, at other places, it would come out to $ 15. They have yogurt flavors such as PUMPKIN!(yum! *drool*), new york cheesecake(my fav.), Berrystar(plain yogurt), strawberry, vanilla, chocolate, and other flavors that I cannot remember. They also have a topping bar with pieces of cheesecake, reeses peanut butter cups, strawberries, chocolate and white chocolate chips, and much much more.

Self serve yogurt — you get your own cup, fill it with your choice of yogurt and toppings then they weigh it and charge you $.38/ounce. They have 10 flavors arranged in pairs so that certain flavors can be swirled together: New York cheesecake, orchard cherry, original tart, nonfat raspberry, berrystar plain, blueberry no sugar added, vanilla no sugar added, chocolate, strawberry, and peanut butter lowfat. There were quite a few toppings available including fresh fruit and mochi. The yogurt was pretty tasty and had a good texture to it — very creamy!

I like BerryStar… Its the BEST frozen yogurt place in Lancaster! I just wish that they had more toppings though! They don’t have alot to choose from. And they don’t have any kind of brownie topping either! But everything taste really good though! I would have to say that they are my 3rd favorite yogurt place(Yogurt Hut is my #1 favorite and PinkBerry is my #2 favorite, but we don’t have those places in the Antelope Valley though)! So for Lancaster, BerryStar is the best one! =) It is clean and the people that work there are friendly! So that is good… I posted a whole bunch of pictures that I took. I have only been there once! I went with my mom. =)

They have about 6 – 8 flavors, only 2 were tart– original and green tea. I always go for tart so I got some green tea with no toppings. It was alright. This place was absolutely clean. No sticky floors or anything. That’s sort of rare at DIY froyo places these days. A few tables, very brightly lit. Yes, some sort of dance/techno music(I think Sandstorm was playing when we were there). A bit pricey though at $ 0.38/oz. Well done Berrystar for opening up and owning the froyo market out here before Pinkberry can. I’ll come back. Its freaking hot in Lancaster.
