Adams Nurseries

I used to purchase plants at this nursery but last time I was shocked at the treatment we were given and the low level of customer service. We purchased 2 shrubs, never removed them from the containers, and wanted to return them in exactly the same condition as purchased in less than 24 hours. The register clerk had no issue with the plants because they were in an intact condition as bought but insisted that only in-​store credit can be issued and not any money back. She was rude and insistent on it. At one point she even happily agreed to take them back as our «gift» to them (ca. $ 80) because we didn’t agree to take in-​store credit instead of money back. Eventually, the store manager came down and, though she had allegedly previously confirmed to this clerk over the phone that no returns can be accepted with money back but only with in-​store credit, she then agreed to issue us our money back. This incident was blatantly against the nursery’s own policy that states as follows: «Nursery stock may be returned 7 days from date of purchase in the exact same condition as it was sold with receipt.» Whoever owns this nursery should be put on notice. We are old customers and this was the first time we wanted to return plants in the same condition as purchased and in less than 24 hours. These two individuals working at the nursery should have followed the store’s own policy right away.

Very disappointed in the lack of basic people skills by the female owner of Adam’s. Her Ego and mouth are quite large and equally disturbing. I can only describe her as a washed up old hag trying to be a mean girl. She had absolutely no class whatsoever and the two women in the Garden Center are a slightly toned down version of her. It’s a shame that such a beautiful Nursery is ruined by people who don’t know what it’s like to be friendly & down to earth. My advice? Leave your snobbery back home. Your customers no matter how big or small their purchase are what keeps you employed and in business.

Awesome, a place to do business! I had experienced poor customer service at another nursery. I found Adams. They are the best! They explain and answered all my landscape questions.
They know how to provide excellent customer service and seem to enjoy educating there customers.

Adams Nurseries
We have many plants in our garden today that came to the Buffalo area from Adams. Some are 20 years old. Others we got today. All are healthy.
This is a large nursery located past Transit on Genesee. Once you pass Transit you don’t have many lights to get through. And all those houses and yards you have been seeing from the Thruway all these years, well, now you get to see the front of them! Added bonus.
This nursery carries many plants, annuals, perennials, and all sorts of grasses and the like. They also have shrubs and larger plants, think rhododendron types.
Their hanging baskets are beautiful and creative.
Huge easy parking lot. Friendly helpful and knowledgeable staff.
