History
Established in 2015.
Andrew Johns and his wife Jenny, both native to the Bedford area, have always dreamed about bringing something special back to their hometown after Chef Andrew attended the Culinary Institute of America in New York. Named after their middle child, Sage is the culmination of years of planning, dedication, and hard work towards their goal of one day opening their own restaurant.

Business Owner
Born and raised in Bedford, Andrew has spent his entire life working in every facet of professional kitchens. His first job at the age of 15 was as a dishwasher at the Mule’s Corral — the building that would eventually come to own and be called Sage Steak & Seafood.
He and his wife Jenny moved back to the community after his training at the Culinary Institute of America where they live and raise three children along with their family dog Fergus.
