Bucks County Academy of Fencing maintains two exceptional facilities for serious training, as well as a family friendly and community-​oriented atmosphere for fencers of all ages, including a larger contingent of adult and «veteran» fencers than is typical for most clubs.

Our coaching staff is certified by the United States Fencing Coaches Association, and BCAF is a recognized USFCA Guild Academy for its commitment to the educational quality and certification of its fencing coaches. We cater to a wide range of training levels from beginners and recreational fencers to national and international competitors.

History

Established in 1981.

The BCAF was established in 1981 by Maestro Mark Holbrow. After almost 23 years of operation in New Hope, BCAF moved to its new location in Lambertville on September 8th, 2003. In September 2010, BCAF-​WEST opened in Hatfield, PA with 12 Olympic size strips.

Manager

Lisa Martini started as a beginner at BCAF in 1996 and enjoyed fencing for 4 years. She is now Co-​owner and Operations Manager of BCAF. Ms. Martini is here to answer questions, help with equipment ordering, keep track of class payments and schedules, etc. Please feel free to contact her with any questions, comments or feedback.
