Edgar helped us out so much! It was our first time building something with pipes, he knows a lot & his tips were amazing. This location is very close to Costo, other convenient stores & Lakewood Center!

This is my just around the corner store. The staff are always very helpful. I like how they keep the shelves neat and stocked.
Many times I ha e special ordered or ordered online and gone in for pickup and the service and attentiveness to detail was good. The ladies in customer service seem to work well as a team.
My favorite section is tools towards the midd and front of the store great deals line the front walkway and keep me dreaming of my next tool or tools.

The worse costumer service. Had to walk around just to find someone to help me. And when I did, they said that doesn’t wasn’t their department.
NEVER going back!

I’ve been to a dozen different Home Depot locations. Amazing customer service today, especially for a busy Saturday. Came in around noon, Taro? from gardening was extremely helpful and knowledgable, helping one customer after another. Went out of his way to help me find something no one really knew about, and he knew exactly what I was looking for. He was very helpful!

This is my favorite Home Depot.
They have a few people that work here that really make a difference. Liz in flooring is the best. she has been there for a long time and helped my wife and I decorate through a remodeling of our entire house. She helped us with not just tile and carpet, but paint, blinds, hardwood, grout and supplies. Maria used to be in the paint department and she was always friendly, efficient and helpful — she went out of her way to take care of business — thats why they promoted her. Ian is at the Customer Service Desk and he has helped me through a couple of really difficult situations. They all ended in my being happy with the results but they started out really rough. Michael is at the front door all the time and welcomes me, tells me where things are when needed and keeps a tally for me of the number of times Ive been there that day.
Home Depot is not my favorite Home Improvement store. But they are my regular go-​to store due to convenience. They have limited stock and if you need something out of the ordinary, you won’t find it there. But as Home Depots go, I keep coming to this store even though there are three other stores within the range.

Very friendly staff. Also the guy who works in the appliances department is always super helpful and whenever I’m in the middle of the store trying to figure out where to go he is great at pointing me in the right direction. In addition a part that I wanted for my fridge isn’t carried at the store he even recommended a place locally that specializes in those parts. He is very knowledgable and is willing to go the extra mile!

Had to fix a toilet leak and Ross at Home Depot saved my day! I called Home Depot on the hopes they would have the part. After a short explanation of the problem with Ross, I decided to go to the Home Depot. I walked into plumbing, found Ross and he took me over to the part we had discussed. I bought it, installed it like he said and WhoooHooo its magic! Thanks so much for understanding my explanation and pictures. You guys are the best! Please give Ross a raise, he is a Home Depot keeper.

Typical Home Depot experience. You walk in looking for something you have no idea about, then you chase employees to help you, they end up referring you to other employees and you leave a year older then when you walked in.
I wanted some help in the paint and plumbing sections. The paint area is easy, they always have people there. I had to wait for help though.
The plumbing section was terrible. I met a new employee there who had no idea what plumbing is. Eventually he got some one who did know a thing or two to answer my questions.
At least Home Depot beats other hard ware stores…

This home depot is great if you know exactly what you need and just need to go in and grab that. I needed help to find the right screws for a project. No associates were available near by so i walked to the customer service desk = waste of time. Customer service desk is useless. 4 staff members standing behind a desk, 1 of which said he would page someone. No one ever came after 9 min and 45 seconds (timed it). With no help, i went to my second item i needed, tension rod. I found them, an associate walked by! Found an available one! but when I asked my question, his response was «i think so» with no follow up to confirm with someone who may «know so» just unfortunate because i associate home depot with a place that can help you and that was not the case with this location.

Christmas tree picking is a serious deal! We normally get noble fir 7−8ft & Douglas fir is our second pick. Choose wisely and quick because people might just grab your tree the moment you turn our back on it and decide to get it back. When checking out, get in line for netting and trimming… then pay for the tree inside Home Depot to save time.
They do have more trees locked up behind fences but they hardly let anyone choose those unless you beg or you’re extra nice! The guys working here are focused since they’re so busy all the time. So don’t be indecisive around them or I’m sure you’ll get attitude.

great guy, Dennis, at the Pro Desk, one of the few guys who actually knows his stuff… a lot of home improvement stores have employees who know just the basics and not a whole lot more. Kind of refreshing to speak to someone who actually seems to have done construction before and is helpful.

they have pretty decent return policy too, just make sure to use your credit card so you don’t need receipt to return items

This used to be my go-​to Home Depot store. I would drive out of my way to come here because it seemed better stocked and much more organized than the one nearer to me. Customer service is pretty decent here. At times, you can’t find workers to help you on aisles, but that’s to be expected at any of the locations. If you’re looking for Christmas trees, there was always a lot full around the holiday season.

I experienced really bad customer service here. It may have just been the associate because once I spoke to the manager, Chad, he seemed empathetic. However, we called the store about an issue we had with our power drill we rented from them and the associate Miguel was very rude to us on the phone. We couldn’t hear him and he began to spell his name out to us in a rude and condescending tone and then when we asked if our issue could be fixed he said, «not gonna happen.» Blunt, just like that. Very rude. After they were the ones that made the mistake, I hope Chad spoke with him because I won’t go there again.

It’s weird reviewing a Home Depot, but this place has pretty on point customer service that I had to say something. I guess it’s because my expectations of going into most home improvement places is being lost in shelves of items and being on a scavenger hunt to not only find the items I need but also to find an associate to help me.
However, there’s a greeter here at the entrance that asked me how I was AND also what I needed help finding. I told them I needed plastic glue and immediately they directed me towards the right aisle. After finding my item I went to self check out where the line was building up. The associate at the self check out was proactive and suggested to us (the customers at the end of the line) to go to the empty cashiers towards the end of the warehouse. I walked down, had an extremely friendly cashier on register 1 help me with my transaction, and then I was off. In and out in about 5 minutes thanks to the help of all the associates. Pretty cool !

This is my go to Home Depot store. Mainly because it is local. But having said that, it is as good as Home Depot gets. Depending on when you go, you will see staff on the floor or no staff what so ever.
Staff has always been nice and helpful. I have been to quite a few where the staff absolutely horrible and had the attitude of «I don’t care, don’t bug me».
I have ordered items online and delivered to the location along with having items held for my contractor. No complaints and each time it has gone smoothly.
Why not five stars you ask, well as I said above, the staffing can be hit and miss. This includes on the busy days, saturday and sunday. They have seemed to have gotten better. But not great.

THE TRUTH? THEY CAN’T HANDLE THE TRUTH! This isn’t a reflection on this particular store in Lakewood, CA but
is afraid to hear the truth and when you try to critic them on there site, they screen them and will not let you post your true feelings about what you went through with them! So I Unilocal THEM! Bought a 24 bottle wine cooler from them, arrived in a padded box within a padded box.
No apparent damage to either boxes. Unpacked the wine cooler to discovered whom ever packaged ours did not care about quality control because the wine cooler was crushed on the side and on top prior to shipping. What kind of crap is that? Where is the quality control people? This is the second time we have ordered something from them and it has arrived damaged from the location it was shipped from. Ok, they give you a 10% discount and free shipping on your return but this is very upsetting for people.
When you try to post on their website, they get very defensive and will not submit your post until you edit it to their liking. What Kind of BS is that? KEEP IT REAL HOME DEPOT!

All Home Depot are the same. Really, tell me the difference from one chain from another. The major difference is probably the staff, but on this occasion, I didn’t need them. Found what I needed and purchased it. Clean and large, like, well, all Home Depots.

Bought our Christmas tree here. We were a bit bummed to find out that the 3 – 6 ft tree we picked was actually supposed to be stocked in the 6 – 8 ft section. Oh well, we liked it enough to cough up the extra dough.
But what surprised me was how fast things moved along. We almost didn’t buy our tree there since the line for cutting and purchasing was so long, but the line really moved along so we were actually outta there in no time!

Mr. Sultan (he said it was like the Babe — Sultan of Swat) very kindly helped locate the product I needed to prevent backyard critters from raiding my fruit trees. (Google and Read more about: metal flashing). He also cut the roll of metal to the size I needed (plus one more, for good measure) using tin snips, another of those old-​timey tools that’s lost in my garage. Or I would totally DIY the project!
I am a little disappointed still because there used to be more staff members around to help you out. I had to wander about calling out, Hello? until I chanced on him at the far back end of the lumber section. Poor guy was working solo.

I’ve been to a few HD Lately and the ones I’ve been to have HORRIBLE CS and by horrible I mean … How can an associate NOT know who their manager is … Or if they have any air conditioners left, wait don’t you work in this department ?!? I would understand if the associate worked in a different dept (I knw how it wrks I’ve wrkd at a HD b4). Or how can an associate say «I don’t know, «i don’t wrk in this department and walk away» lol REALLY!!!
But today I walk into this HD and from time of entering to the time of walking out it was nothing but EXCELLENT CS !!! Specially #Kat in the paint department. Way to go #THDLakwood !!!
